I know the title doesn't suit the situation but still... A Bravo to all the female power aka Devika, Aaji, Kalyani and Ketaki! I loved when Aaji shouted at the men when they objected to Kalyani doing the last rites of Rajaram...👏
She rightly said, the people close to Rajaram, rather closest to him should keep away during the last moments, just because they were women? Not fair!
The punchline was "Kahan likha hai aisa? Aur agar kisi panne par aisa likha hai toh use Phirse likhna chahiye"!... A super dialouge which needs to be applauded👏
In fact the females are the power around which the world revolves and keeping them aside in important tasks is meaningless. But our society is such that we don't accept changes... Specially related to women. The Pandit refused to cooperate, saying he will get cursed. This is the mentality we carry. Half the crowd left on seeing it, it's a shame!😡
Coming back to the story... Anant had the cheek to come up there and ask his son to ignite the fire. I am glad it didn't happen. How conveniently he convinced them about the money. The family, atleast Devika should have thought that Rajaram didn't owe to anyone except Shyam Rao, so where is the money? He wound the paper matter also so easily... Constantly I was like now Sourabh will object, now he will ask him but nothing such happened!
Again, I loved how Devika told Anant to leave them alone and get out with all the help he offered them. That selfish scoundrel should have been thrown out.
Aaji telling Anant's wife to leave was also great... And she telling that though there were no arrangements, they had a large heart... Unlike others was fab!
Lastly, Kalyani taking up the job to sing Kanha to sleep was fabulous! Like the musician, even I am worried that Kalyani didn't cry. Girl, just convey your emotions, it's healthy!
On the whole, a fantastic epi I would say. Though sad, but extremely powerful in terms of punchlines and script. I was cheering all the way 👏
Women rock!⭐️
