'Saloni' detests being called dusky beauty

New Delhi, Nov 11 (IANS) Television actress Rajashree Thakur aka Saloni of 'Saat Phere' fame says she hates being called a dusky beauty because it symbolises discrimination on the basis of colour.

she is very beautiful, and I think peoples must not say all the time that she is a dusky beauty, but only that she is a beauty!!

i agree with her...by saying that..it's just maintaining the barrier between fair and dark... she's simply beautiful..some of these so called "fair beauties" look like bla compared to Raj...she's simply beautiful... and should be termed beautiful without the descriminating adjective tailing along.

sigh..she's really so sensible and down to earth! 😆 which is why she'll always be around and become a respected actress..whereas the flashy younger ones will soon fizzle out and be replaced.

Rajshri is quite right.

People saying dusky beauty, symbolises discrimination on the basis of colour.

People don't say fair beauty, so why do they have to say dusky beauty?

So beauty is beauty whether tha person is dusky or fair complextion.

Any way black is beautiful, and I am sure those who have it are very proud of their colour.

However, the inner beauty is what matters the most.
