Ramayan says this and you have asked me to follow Ramayan. The sacredness of those books can be used in a progressive way than they be used for perpetuating regressive habits.

Do you know the polio campaign of India was done Amitabh Bachanan. And he being the brand ambassador of such a programme had a huge impact in the rural communities and it helped the health workers to get their message much easier. His popularity had such a reach and the success of polio eradication campaign does owe a lot to Mr Bachan along with the health workers.
Same is the case with epics. They have a profound impact and we need to use them for the progress of the country. Because if we truly believe they are learnings from God, then we need to understand that God treats everyone equal. And God's message can never give upper hand to one person, one culture, one community or one kingdom.

Very true. Epics are very much needed in these times for the new generation to send a strong message.

You can call me Fatema.

Nicely explained Shruthi.
Education should be given irrespective of the gender. You will only have a better life because of it. It could be career, marriage or anything in your life.

Beautiful post Shruti. Education is my profession, and I am very passionate about this.
I also believe that education is its own reward! some pursue education for a vocation, some for financial gain, some for getting the right life partner, and some for the sheer joy of learning!

Whatever the reason, equal opportunity must be given to all, irrespective of gender, caste or colour.

In olden days, and to a certain extent even now, education was and is the privilege granted to few, and that is wrong
