Why did Daadi make Mogambo?

Daadi was the prime authority of MM. Abhi although was the owner of MM, he more or less always listened to Daadi and tried to work around her wishes. It's no secret that Abhi loves Daadi to death, and can't live without her and can't really go against her.

In that situation, Daadi learnt of a good truth about him when Pragya told her that Abhi was innocent in Tannu pregnancy case.

It was the same Daadi who beat up Abhi for impregnating Tannu. She had a chance to merely go to him and apologize to him for that and tell truth. She didn't do that.

It was no secret either that Abhi wasn't jumping to marry Tannu. Abhi clearly told Daadi when he came back after he left the house that he believes Tannu was a mistake and he is over with it. Nor Daadi was big on TaBhi marriage either until Pragya forced them to. So it was clear both Abhi and Daadi didn't want TaBhi.

So, when Daadi learnt the truth, she just needed to share it with Abhi, a truth which would make both him and her happy/relieved.

But she chose to make Mogambo.

If she believed Abhi would not believe a thing against Tannu, she could have hired detectives, ordered a DNA test etc. to prove Abhi wasn't the daddy. Same for Aaliyah- she could have controlled Aaliyah and Abhi's wealth. Abhi would not have said No to her if she took charge.

But then, she made Pragya take charge. Despite knowing Pragya isn't a confident/chaalu person who is capable to handling such a task, she still gave her this task. Why?

It's weird she did this. But the only reason I can think of is to make Pragya a hero. To prove to Abhi and all, Pragya is some great warrior who did so much for Abhi so that Abhi will forever be grateful to Pragya given the scale of mission this has grown into. I mean now, Abhi can't really hold it against Pragya when he will only have sympathy for her that she lost so much to help him.. whether it was needed or not is a different/irrelevant question.

So Daadi seems to be proving herself too here- because she was the one who believed in AbhiGya, she was the one who believed in Pragya. She just wants to prove it big time by making Pragya Abhi's saviour.

I think dadi wants revenge.

It's because of Pragya, Tanu Was brought to MM.
Pragya left him. Abhi cried for her. T was encouraged by her.

For all this she wants revenge. That is why when Pragya found out the truth. She dint let her tell Abhi directly. She choose this way so that it gets difficult for her.

She is not fully satisfied she wants more, tads the reason she gives ideas like announcement to Abhi and bashes Pragya whenever possible.

Dadi wants revenge from Pragya for going against her wishes and leaving Mm and Abhi.

Or revenge from Aurora family for Rockstar Daadi's husband. I'm going to keep my claim of Daadi being a Tanu in a previous life.

i thnk dadi was rght and pragya should remain in her mogambo avataar if she wants to protect her family becz after learning al ths also, Abhi is stil the same.. he is not at al serious..

why becz whn Aliya came back, he askd purc to keep eye on her.. 😕

like what? when is he gng to take charge to protect hmself and hs family..? why he is not dng his duty on hs own? why dependent on othrs again when you have seen the result in past?

first abhi should realise ths.. if he is good in takng hs life decision then dadi wil nevr take ths step.. 😳 he nevr shard his love for tanu with dadi.. he clearly knew that dadi nevr likd tanu but stil he was dreamng to marry Tanu, so how can u say that he nevr thought to go against her?

Tia, that's a very complicated question! 😊

The short answer is she feels a middle class girl like Pragya is right for Abhi and the family. She could have easily told Abhi the truth about Tanu baby. He would have believed dadi definitely. At that time, he wouldn't even ask for proof. And Abhi and Pragya could have gotten together and kicked out Tanu. I don't think Abhi needed to see Pragya's hard work or appreciate her for what she's done. He loved her at that point.

She made Pragya mugambo, I think, because she wanted mugambo to "straighten out/change" and show Abhi "who to trust." Personally, I hate that idea. That a wife should straighten out a husband is a stupid, stupid idea!! She made mugambo because she wanted to clean up house and get rid of the bad guys like Aliya and Raj. Dadi - pragya bond is so deep that I sometimes wonder how much dadi trusts Pragya. She wrote all the property in her name!! I think that's because she has so much faith in Pragya.

Mainly mugambo came to build episodes for the show. But why didn't the plan work? Why are CV's making dadi's own plan backfire? That's why I feel CV's are ruthless in this show. Nobody's plans work. Sometimes I wonder if the show is a parody on cultural expectations, or tradition, or anti-leads. The leads just don't seem to win.

I think so too, but not as revenge. While I do not hold Pragya for walking away from Abhi, I hold her for pushing Tannu into MM and forcing everyone emotionally to have her as bahu. So I can see Daadi getting annoyed that Pragya who was supposed to show the light to Abhi, pushed him into darkness. No wonder Pragya bought this point too because she was also guilty somewhere.

but I don't think it's revenge, Rishu. Daadi wants an ideal bahu and she is testing out by giving all powers to Pragya. But why is she not realizing Pragya is not that kind of person who can set people right. Pragya is more gullible than Abhi in identifying people.. Daadi refuses to accept her thought about Pragya was wrong..

WHAT IF,

Abhi's parents were killed in an accident caused by Pragya's dad?😲

It means Daadi lost her son na? So she is taking it on the Arora ladies.. 😆

And Daadi does not mind putting her own grandkids in some distress to achieve her son's revenge?😕

Abhi was dreaming to marry Tannu? When? Did he love Tannu? Lol.. of course not. After Abhi marrying Pragya, Tannu got serious about marriage. He kept on telling her how come she is serious now when they never meant to marry before.. but Tannu got parents and all and put him in a weird situation.

Abhi never wanted marriage at all. When Daadi forced, he proposed to the one girl he was dating which was Tannu. How is that going against her? If you remember Aakash marriage episodes, Daadi sees TaBhi and wonders if Abhi likes her and asks him to like marry her and all. Abhi changes topic at that time.. She did not particularly like showbiz people but she was okay with Abhi marrying anyone.. because she was worried he will never marry..😆

Cerealgirl, I do not find it too off to see that in a couple can complement each other by fulfilling the issues in each other. In case of AbhiGya, Pragya's issues were that men didn't like her, rejected her etc. and the other issue was her family that had financial troubles etc. Abhi at one level helped these issues. He fell for Pragya for what she is. He still craves for thaf modest girl dressed in unflattering chatris. Basically he loved her the way she was. Imagine Pragya's confidence in man-woman/love matters to have a rockstar in love with her, whom 1000s of girls want.
And he has been a support to Arora ladies as a son of the house and with finances. And this he has done him without really believing himself as Pragya's husband.

Likewise, it is not out of the world thought to hope Pragya could help out Abhi too where he lacks. His issue has been he trusts people too much and listens to them unconditionally until he has bad experiences. Pragya who had a better idea of Taaliyah (she knew of their crimes way more than all along), supported both of those women without using her previous knowledge about them. And she shipped Tannu out of the way to bring her in etc.
I do hold Pragya for overdoing Tannu shipping and I agreed with Daadi when she said the same thing to Pragya. So it's okay if Daadi advises Pragya to help Abhi when he is wrong.

But the problem is Daadi does not realize Pragya is more gullible than Abhi!! Abhi wanted to throw Aalu out long time ago, Oragya wanted to keep her. Abhi thought Tannu is a liar and selfish woman but Pragya defended her! But Daadi feels only Pragya can set it right for Abhi and everyone but Pragya messes up so much, for example ruling out Nikhil so easily, failing to identify Tannu as Maa's kidnapper etc. where as Abhi has been more successful in figuring out things when he has had some clues- for example mms and making Maa respond to him about AbhiGya etc.

But Daadi wants to trust Pragya.. Like she is some super hero. She never scolds her for foolish plans. She never reconsiders her decision to make her Mogambo. The only explanation I have for its that Daadi bent on making her the hero she is not!

So it's like Daadi wanted a perfect bahu for Abhi (which is okay, nothing wrong in expecting)... But what is not okay is when Pragya is not that, Daadi is he'll bent on making her that, hook or crook!!

Right?? They always keep it a mystery of what happened to Pragya's dad or what happened to Abhi's parents.
