Yesterday's and today's episode were slow-paced so I decided to put together in one post. Both episodes were enjoyable to watch and I am liking the build up.
We started out with Yuvi confronting Twinkle. He is so much drunk on his victory, that he cannot hide his glee. He cannot stop himself from flaunting and showing how much of a genius he is, but unlike before, Twinkle wasn't angry at Yuvraj for all that he did. She instead looked at him with disbelief which later turned into belief in herself and her love; and showed him the mirror of what he could've been and what he chose to be.
I loved the shift in expressions of Yuvi. His glee disappeared as soon as she expressed her pity. He is the image of grandeur and glamor; where as this girl tells him that he has reduced his life towards something that has no end. When you lit a fire as strong as Yuvi has done, the flames gather around you too, especially when you have no one to save you from it. The scene showed the evolution in Twinkle's character as a wife. Instead of getting angry, she told him all the facts about him that he is deluded towards. My favorite part of the scene was when she told him that he doesn't know love and it is true on so many fronts.
This boy was ignored by his mother and grew up watching his mother's hatred and grudges consume her life purpose. He pursued a girl, not out of love but out of vengeance that still drives him till this day. Obsession can never turn into love because love is unconditional and without reason and for Yuvi, his junoon is what is keeping him alive. Twinkle explaining to Yuvi that she now knows what real love is was such a fabulous choice of words along with the whole camera movement. From hereon now, both Twinkle and Yuvi's world's are changing completely. Twinkle's blind trust in Kunj and her faith in her relationship is cemented from their confession date. Kunj has always been around for her, but now there is certainty that he won't be leaving her nor she would be leaving him. With Yuvraj, the last hope of Twinkle and Kunj mutually splitting up has succumbed. His obsession with Twinkle will only isolate him further and further. It's only going to get darker from now for him. Twinkle has everything she needs (Kunj, her mother, bebe), with her. Her calmness in front of his threats was something he did not expect but now the war is on equal level. Twinkle can no longer be held back.
I think the opening scene really stole the show yesterday. Zain was especially brilliant. The glee slowly overtaken by anger and obsession was so subtly performed.
Tum Bin Jeya Kaise was such a beautiful choice for yesterday's whole pinning scene. It was literally so much hearbreaking. Twinkle just needed to see his face and in all the time she imagined herself with him, it was all of those things that Kunj did to make her feel special.
Kunj tearing up and throwing the damn pillow at the bed! Oh all the feels came rushing back! The song beautifully translated their restlessness without each other.
The next scene that had the utmost importance I think was when Kunj didn't waste any time to call Twinkle. I honestly love Sidhant's portrayal of Kunj. He is so much conflicted about his feelings because he wants her to be there with him, but his side but he doesn't want to admit it to nor himself, nor to her. I think it was brilliant how Kunj says that "if Papa wishes" while looking at his mother when calling Twinkle. Kunj's wounds are still fresh because just as he confessed his love, he dealt with a blow worse then rejection. He felt betrayed in that precise moment that has clouded his judgement and bruised his pride. I was in awe of the look of admission on his face when the lawyer said that the only profitable business is left with Twinkle.
Now I don't want to read in it much since i feel like this is a stepping stone, but what did feel somewhat important in the scene was that after filing for bankruptcy, all of Manohar's previous business did not pick up pace but only went into loss however the new-found business that he started after Twinkle and Kunj's marriage was covering the losses of the old business. I think I mentioned before how exactly has Twinkle brought righteousness and the power of truth back with her since she has become the Sarna bahu. Manohar's old businesses were founded on greed and unjustly acquired family wealth whereas he probably started up event-management/marraige planning company through rightful means or his savings. Other then the auspicious steps of Twinkle, with the whole Purvi incident, Manohar became the first hand witness to Twinkle's determination and her protective streak towards her family.
In the episode where Usha throws Twinkle out, I mentioned the positioning of characters and how Twinkle herself has the ability to change Usha's mind, by her taking away the knife from her hand as Usha countdowns to 9. At every instance where it seems that there are no more doors left open, Twinkle opens the door and will let the relationships heal. Today, Twinkle stood diagonal to the door, marking her return and besides her stood the matriarch of the family Bebe, opposite her stood the there Sarna brothers. I loved how Cherry was in the middle of the brothers. Kunj is the one who keeps Manohar's family together where as Cherry is the one who takes decisions on behalf of Surjeet. Usha and Anita stood in the same line, with the same look of disbelief that when Manohar has two sons, why did the business was handed to Twinkle. It was interesting to see Yuvi standing in front of Anita, as he as taken over Anita's fight now which met its end when Anita celebrated the emergence of the crack s that were already there, in Twinkle and Kunj's relationship. With today's episode, a new fight has began and it only has Yuvi from one side, and Twinkle & Kunj from the other.

Coming to today's episode, the start of the episode in itself was easy symbolic and everyone can tell. The Lakshmi of the house is back. I always think back to the third episode where the guru ji tells Manohar that today he'll find the true Lakshmi of his house, who will always bring prosperity with her and stand against the evil. What was surprisingly fantastic in the scene was that Kunj saw the wind and stood up to close the door. It reminds me how when first Twinkle was chosen by the guru ji as the one for him, he was not agreeable to the choice and did not wanted to marry Twinkle at any cost however despite both Twinkle and Kunj's efforts, they ended up together getting married. With today's entry, Kunj's clash of his love for family, his love Twinkle and his broken pride made him once again stand at a distance while being her supporter. I think the choice of colors in the scene was perfect. Twinkle wearing pink, a color that represents nurturing and unconditional love where as Kunj in red represented action, passion and power. Kunj's voice has a lot of power ever since the details of the will has been released because the most profit financially and spiritually came to him which makes his silence just as powerful and aligns him with Twinkle.
Now the suitcase. It literally symbolizes baggage Twinkle carries. Till date the suitcase has been up to four times and until the last time, it has been Twinkle carrying the baggage with her until Kunj came in during the Mrs. Amritsar pageant and helped her with carrying the weight of it. It was during this track that Kunj and Twinkle became a team that are and became each other's partners in truest sense; however this time it is Twinkle again carrying the weight of truth and righteousness against the shadow of her past aka Yuvraj. I loved how as she stepped in, the first look she gave was to Yuvraj. In the fight now, she is here to win because she knows that she already has everything to gain and nothing to lose by defeating him in his own silly yet genius plans.
The calmness and confidence in Twinkle's words is hurting Yuvi for he has never seem Twinkle react to any situation so calmly. The impulsive fighter in Twinkle still exists but what Yuvraj is undermining is the determination that comes in to protect all her loved ones in Twinkle.
*A secret part of me really wants Kunj to overhear Yuvi threatening Twinkle.*
OHMGOD THE TWINKLE AND KUNJ CONVERSATION! Jasmine stole that! I'm sorry but Jasmine stole the spotlight in that interaction. Usually Sidhant carries the weight of a scene between he two but the way Jas emoted Twinkle's pain as Twinkle stood her ground and practically spoke about responsibilities she has as a daughter-in-law were perfect! And Kunj, that dude almost couldn't believe the transition in their relationship. So far he was the one raising red flags but now Twinkle is here to match her flag with his. I previously analyzed that Kunj would have to bring Twinkle back himself and would have to make-up to her but I was very conflicted seeing Twinkle cry and beg for forgiveness in the following two episodes but I'm so glad to see the "tashan" back between the two from both the sides.
> One thing I think really surprised Kunj was seeing Twinkle so calm since hs last interactions with her. She has always lost emotional control previously but her calmness and determination has also taken him aback along with Yuvi. (basically all men are dumb) I think Kunj didn't expect her to stand tall so soon without his help but Kunj himself has taught her that marriage and love is about partnership of two people who need to maintain their individuality whereas when Twinkle was deprived of Kunj's love, and also when she was with Yuvi; she believed that in love two become one where as now, the two people are standing together. She has grown so much!
I think by the time Usha comes back, we will see Manohar all well and then accepting Twinkle back in the house. The Chardham yatra is significant for how it washes away all the sins. I am not too well-versed in hinduism but I believe that there is a significance of Usha going away to visit temples of Lord Vishnu and Shiva when just earlier the Lakshmi stepped in the house and she was displeased with it. Ultimately at the end, Usha is going to have to accept Twinkle regardless of her like or dislike, as Kunj's rightful wife. >> "raha sawaal Usha rani ka you woh man jaye gi." <<
Oh, how much I loved the conversation between Leela, Twinkle and Bebe. Twinkle didn't discuss everything with Bebe but she made sure to seek her permission before accepting the responsibility of the business.
The Twinkle and Kunj conversation was remarkable. Firstly, both wearing the same colors. While shades of color themselves manifest different forms of symbolisms, overall red represents anger and passion correlating. At this point, Twinkle is frustrated and hurt by Kunj's attitude while Kunj terribly needs Twinkle with him but he is unable to manifest his feelings into words because of the conflict brewing inside him due to the lingering anger.
>> I loved Sidhant's hollowed expression when he learns that she won't come in the room as his wife until he gives her the right himself. It's ironic as till date Twinkle has used her position as a wife to take over Kunj's room but her exclusion from the Sarna mansion ripped her from the rights of Daughter-in-law and a wife. Manohar has successfully reinstated her as the daughter-in-law once again and now it's Kunj's turn. Him refusing to hand over the album but put it outside was such a jerk move but only because he can't deal with more restlessness and frustrations. Also Twinkle asking for help was just reminder of how if she had asked for help before, maybe their relationship would still be as rosy as they were thinking it was.
Marigold flower symbolisms resurrection. Thats the reason why it is used in auspicious poojas & havans along with other celebrations. Twinkle puts the flowers up by herself but falls down because of Yuvi pulling her rope, however unconditionally Kunj would be with her through the whole ordeal (EP 158) from a distance silently which would help Twinkle defeat Yuvraj and prove her worth. How angry was he when he saved her from that fall. He looks hot when he is angry.
Mahi seems to be hanging out with Bebe more and more. Yuvi's change of attitude has also been evident to her since past few days. Time is coming for her to switch sides herself.
Overall, the last two episodes have been great. They are more action driven and taking course for what is about to happen. I'm really excited to see the upcoming episodes and see the tashan shaping up the ishq. Do leave your thoughts! I know it too long but two episodes worth.
