The Childish Couple
Raunak is walking back to his room to get ready for the day when he overhears Neeti's voice. He can tell she is stressed. He goes to check on her and finds her crying in her room. Neeti tells Raunak that Vinay has called up and told her that he will not marry her. Neeti starts to worry about their mother and what she will say and do when she finds out. Raunak tells her not to tell her as she has had a lot of stress recently.
Unfortunately, Janki walks in and has overheard the brother and sister. Janki makes passing comments about how wrong it is for children to keep secrets from parents. Janki then asks Neeti what is wrong. Neeti tells her mother the truth. Janki tells Neeti that you pay for the mistakes you make in life. Neeti's mistake was falling in love with Vinay. Raunak doesn't say anything (but you can tell from his facial expressions that he didn't exactly agree)
Raunak decides to call up Vinay.
Vinay sees his phone rings but refuses to pick it up. Kajal then comes and tells him to answer Raunak's call as she gives him her phone. Vinay still refuses forcing Kajal to answer the phone. Raunak asks to speak to Vinay. He then reminds Kajal about their fake marriage that he only married her to save Sakshi.
Kajal tries again to get Vinay to speak with Raunak. Vinay only agrees for Akshay's sake. Raunak is able to talk to Vinay in a way that makes him calm down and reveal the real reason for Vinay's anger against Neeti. Vinay confesses that he's been really stressed because of Sakshi and misplaced his stress/anger on Neeti. Raunak agrees that Neeti should have been with him during the family crisis but reminds him that they are going to get married soon. Vinay apologies for his behavior.
Raunak hangs up with Vinay and scolds Neeti that the two fight like little children. He tells her that they need to stop this childishness as they will be married soon. Raunak then leaves the room.
Janki starts to voice her doubts to Neeti about Vinay. If he can't stand by his word and they are already having these little tiffs now how is he going to be when they are married? She tells her daughter she has a lot of experience in this and she should heed to her words and advice.
Back at Kajal's house Kajal tries to have a good talk with her brother. Vinay is confused as to why Kajal can tolerate Janki. Kajal admits that she is/was upset with Janki because of what she did but if she had not done that then she would never have gotten a husband like Akshay. And she has been able to forgive Janki because Raunak has done a lot for the family. Kajal tells him that he needs to move on. Looking back into the past will only cause more hurt.
Papa Raunak and Step Daughter Sakshi ❤️ 🤗 ❤️
Sakshi has been watching the clock in her hospital room and is getting impatient. She asks her mother where is Papa? Kajal explains to her that he will be there soon. But Sakshi complains that she's been telling her this for awhile and he still isn't here yet. They both stop talking when they hear someone say "Papa is here!"
Raunak who has been right outside the door comes into the room with a bunch of gifts. Sakshi is elated.
There is a montage of Raunak playing with Sakshi, reading her stories, and helping her take her medicines We see Kajal smiling because Sakshi is having a good time. We also see Kajal's growing respect for Raunak because he is taking such good care of Sakshi.
Eventually, Sakshi falls asleep and Kajal sees that Raunak is also very tired. She offers him a cup of coffee but Raunak refuses. He pretends to be checking his phone and ignores her showing how he is still upset over the accusations she made against his mother.
Back Home Janki Devi's House
Janki is pacing and looking tense in her room. She is obviously worked up about Kajal and Sakshi's impending move into her house.
Munmun and Kaamini are in their room planning. (The audio is removed so we do not know what they are discussing)
Two Weeks Later
Mumun and Kaamini have snuck into Janki's room while she is out in the gardens. Munmun is trying to find the house keys to unlock the safe so they can get the documents they signed so Janki can't hold anything against them. Unfortunately for Munmun and Kaamini, Janki comes into the room and catches them.
Janki gives another lesson to Munmun that she should not touch things without her permission. And also tells her that she will never have the keys to the house. That responsibility will always remain with her.
Their conversation is interrupted when they hear a car honking. Janki announces that Raunak has come home with Kajal and Sakshi.
Precap: The entire family is at the front door ready to welcome Raunak, Kajal, and Sakshi into the house. We see Raunak carrying Sakshi 😃 (she looks adorable with her glasses on) Just as they are about to enter the house Sakshi asks Grandma (Janki...oh the look on her face 😆) will she/they welcome her mother into the house? 😆 Kajal looks tense at her daughter's words
My thoughts:
I enjoyed the Raunak and Neeti scene. It was a nice brother-sister bonding moment between the two 😃
I found it hilarious that Viny's phone had a picture of Raunak 🤣 and Kajal's phone only had his name. Even though Viny loved his Akshay Jija a lot ...I think he secretly harbors a lot of love for his new brother-in-law Raunak. It's a bit passive / aggressive right now 😆
It is obvious from Janki's advice to Neeti that Janki's own prejudices and unfortunate experiences from her own marriage has caused her to have a very skeptical outlook on marriage and love. She thinks she is "protecting" her daughter but she is not. Control is not protection. Janki thinks she can control every situation. Who's to say that groom she had picked would have been good to Neeti?
Eagerly awaiting tomorrow's episode when Kajal and Sakshi enter the Lioness's Den 😆
