great post... I guess the reason behind these repressed anger and hurt is that one episode which happened during ShraMan's teenage that changed everything for them... we do not know when did Sumo's parents pass away, and the reason for her playing an ever pleasing, hesitant girl inside her house... But we do know that the episode effected Shravan more than it did to her... Sumo is more guilty than being angry because Shravan refused to acknowledge her apology...

Guilt is definitely a factor. But I think for both of them, be it Suman or Shravan - its about ego & self-respect more than anything else. Shravan hurt Suman's pride when he left..that too for 10 years without even turning back at her once & then with his return, he acted all cool & ignorant about it as though it never happened. For Shravan, he had no issue if she would have rejected him because all he wanted was to be with her in for good & bad, but she went a step further by not just rejecting him but probably even ridiculing his emotions which hurt him so much because his world revolved around hers but her world did not even have one bit of space of him.

And all this can only be overcome if they decide to put their ego to rest & speak their heart out to each other.

I think 10 years ago sumo has said or done something to shravan which might have been hurtful so he left in anger and sumo realised her mistake and tried to apologise but was too late as he was not willing to listen to her.

Now both their egos coming between them

Most of us in the forum are guessing that Sumo's friends might have found Shravan's love letter for Sumo & they must have made fun of Shravan. Suman too must have supported them like she always did. Shravan couldn't digest the fact that his world revolved around a girl who didn't even stand up for him when he needed her the most. He had already been hurt his mother & he couldn't take another wound.

Hey am I missing something here... I didn't know about the Shravan's mother part... I thought it was yet to come... Has something been already said that I missed??

No no it hasn't come on the show yet. Namik mentioned it an interview that 2 women hurt him - one is Suman & the other he didn't name. But I am sure its his mother.
