@aimf beautiful analogy of mirroring.

A mirror always reflects the truth . It the person or oerson(s) on the opposite end who see what they like to see.

Will come back with more if I may.

In actuality I will boil it down to the fact that your writing Hammie is what I love a lot...

What is love without Junoon and our Viplav has Junoon to spare. Viplav's love for Dhaani is all consuming and I hope in the coming days he remembers that when he will discover some hard truths about her past.

Everyone is decked up to the nines for the pooja and D T shows his pleasure in Viplav and his grand arrangement of the pooja. D T known for showing off his influence to all does so for his daughter-in- laws family also and they do look impressed.

The harmonious pooja done by both Viplav and Dhaani simultaneously was done
beautifully without anyone else getting a whiff about it.

Raja and his forcing Viplav to eat the Bhaang Laddoo was done so he could make a fool of himself in front of everyone and so Raja could look better in the eyes of D T and family.

And Viplav of course does exactly that by irritating Dhaani and making her mad enough to flee from the Mandir. Thank God Viplav screams "Parvati's" name in his dopey state or else Viplav and Dhaani would end up in hot water with their secret out
in front of everyone.

Poor Viplav gets up the next morning with a head fluff cotton balls and does not remember anything and his dear G M has to remind him how he embarrassed the whole Tripathy family by his behaviour.

Viplav soon realizes his mistake and wonders if Dhaani will ever forgive him for his
crudeness and calls her , but of course Dhaani is still upset with him and hangs up.

Viplav you will have to come up with something really unique to impress your secret wife to forgive you for your dopey behaviour at the Mandir.

The Precap... will Viplav see the picture ... I think not... will Dhaani ever see Raja..
not yet...methinks this hide and seek of Raja and Dhaani might last a few more days..
We will get to see Raja's true colours soon when after getting a glimpse of Dhaani fleeing from the Mandir he will now set his mind to finding her and getting his revenge.

Thank you Hammie, for your ever detailed and wonderfully written post that gives me immense pleasure in reading and reliving the episode.

Take care... and may your imagination rise to great heights...

Hammie, what an absolutely lovely take! Thank you! It has great gems of analysis and excellent nuanced touches to this narrative called IKRS that we know and love. 👏
hi aimf..😊 was looking forward to your views

Here are some thoughts to share with you

Mirroring Myriad Realities

Today's episode is all about mirroring. Mirroring is imitating. However, the imitation does not always have the effect the imitators intend. Here are the highlights of today on this topic
yes... and how brilliantly you catch this.. loved the title 👏
* DT's gift to Raja is immediately mirrored by a gift to Shalu from Aunty Klepto's side. DT's gift is open and true for all to see, while the Awasthis' present is stolen under wraps by Aunty Klepto herself even before it reaches poor Shalu. Raja creates a distraction to support Aunty Klepto, and as a result it is all in the (dysfunctional) family. Is that symbolic of the Awathis thieving Shalu's peace of mind, while poor Shalu has to keep it under wraps and grin and bear it? I sincerely hope not.
yes Along.. the subdued smile.. bearing it with grace..shalu
* Raja feeds bhang-laced laddoo to Vip, and Vip mirrors the action at the end. Although both actions are the same, Vip's feeding is symbolic of his love and nurturance and comraderie, while Raja's motives are to usurp Vip's place by de-legitimizing him in Dada's eyes, and take his place as the heir apparent and confidant of DT.
must confess.. i saw his underhand bevaviour later on .. put it down to mucking here and there wih both of them
* The shiva puja done by our newly married couple is a total mirroring of one another. They are together, body, mind, and soul. It is important to note that although marred by distance, the puja proceeds smoothly and is completed without any obstacles.

* Vip, by his loud, drunken act, unintentionally mirrors the worst of Dhani's ex-husband thereby filling her with dread, doubt, and disappointment. Earlier, also such a mirroring took place with the goldfish incident, which resulted in a traumatic flashbacks for Dhani. Well done CVs -- we are thankful for subtle touches like these, where Dhani's traumatic past is addressed by it being repeatedly re-stimulated by Viplav's actions in the present. In my view, this is an important part of the plot, and makes IKRS stand above other shows. It cannot not be glossed over.
such loyalty to the show , if its promoted like you do here.. its bound to mirror in all others who read your post simply so well expressed

* Vip also mirrors Dhani's drunken act from a few episodes ago. Now they are even. Both have seen each other inebriated and at their most vulnerable states. There is nothing to hide.
yes well pointed and associated..
* Dhani's image is simultaneously reflected in many mirrors, symbolizing the extent to which Raja is preoccupied with her. He sees her, as it were, larger than life, and everywhere. From Raja's standpoint, it is not one, but many Dhanis/Sumans he sees. This shows that when matters are taken out of proportion, one becomes many; lies turn into truth, the more they are told; and innocents become monsters. It is all about how things are mirrored in the mind.
and very soon.. reality becomes far removed
A few non-mirroring related thoughts and questions linger in the mind:

--Why did Raja feed the ladoo to Vip? We all know the obvious answer, but was there some other motive, perhaps a bit more altruistic "bromance" than what we are led to believe? Is Raja basically good but has been villainized by his family and the pain of his brother's death? Or is his character meant to evoke such questions in us, which means that it is a character that has been successfully deployed thus far.
by the end of the episode .. it became evident that the purpose was to give viplav the diving board to make a spectacle of himself
--Where was Raja when he left in a huff after the milk pot was given to Viplav by DT? Why was he missing in action? What was he doing? He was nowhere to be seen on the temple premises, and when Dhani runs into him, he is outside the temple compound on the street.
provbably brefing someone about what's happening, what he plans to do
--Why isn't Raja and his family facing the glaring truth of Raja's brother's alcoholism and cruelty to his wife? -
still little is known about what went on in the avasthi household
--If Dhani is Suman and has changed her name to avoid being discovered, then why was it that in an earlier flashback, she kept hearing the words, "Dhani-Khooni, Dhani-Khooni." A blooper, perhaps?
may be.. she committed a blunder and then ran and settled in beneras..?

Sorry for the long ramble --must have got carried away. Thank you for your patience in having read this.
loved your wise words.. really thanks for sharing your thoughts on my post.. each thought , is valued and helps us in mulling over them.. brings out the intrigue factor in the story ,an area I love
Cheers. 👍🏼 thanks aimf much love hammie

this what i missed.. dolly , do forgive me...
What is love without Junoon and our Viplav has Junoon to spare. Viplav's love for Dhaani is all consuming and I hope in the coming days he remembers that when he will discover some hard truths about her past.
yes true love needs to be tested .. to realize its mettle
Everyone is decked up to the nines for the pooja and D T shows his pleasure in Viplav and his grand arrangement of the pooja. D T known for showing off his influence to all does so for his daughter-in- laws family also and they do look impressed.
yes but he is still unaware of their true colors
The harmonious pooja done by both Viplav and Dhaani simultaneously was done
beautifully without anyone else getting a whiff about it.
yes have to say it was a novel idea
Raja and his forcing Viplav to eat the Bhaang Laddoo was done so he could make a fool of himself in front of everyone and so Raja could look better in the eyes of D T and family.
yes..it was like he took advantage of the puja
And Viplav of course does exactly that by irritating Dhaani and making her mad enough to flee from the Mandir. Thank God Viplav screams "Parvati's" name in his dopey state or else Viplav and Dhaani would end up in hot water with their secret out

👏 well pointed... and was high but still clued on not call her dahni
Poor Viplav gets up the next morning with a head fluff cotton balls and does not remember anything and his dear G M has to remind him how he embarrassed the whole Tripathy family by his behaviour.
😆 it was funny his looks.. scattered.. dilated pupils
Viplav soon realizes his mistake and wonders if Dhaani will ever forgive him for his
crudeness and calls her , but of course Dhaani is still upset with him and hangs up.

Viplav you will have to come up with something really unique to impress your secret wife to forgive you for your dopey behaviour at the Mandir.
hope he doesn't pass it off as trivial
The Precap... will Viplav see the picture ... I think not... will Dhaani ever see Raja..

I loved your tips on the precap dolly..

thanks dolly for reading and commenting. look forward to reading your views
Take care... and may your imagination rise to great heights...
