I am Parvati shinga, who lost her parents at the age of 10. I love my parents I am apple of their eyes. My day start with my dad's waking up call and ends with mom's Raj kumar story. Everything changed in a single night, my parents left me with my mami to attend a long distance marriage but unfortunately they met with an accident and all the passengers were dead. At the age of 10 I was not able to understand the partiality behave of my mami between me and her daughter Nandhu. I failed to understand why I always made to sleep in the kitchen floor while other enjoys the comfort of the bed. I failed to notice why I was alone given the left-over food and more work than nandhu. I failed to ask why there are teaching me to stretch dress and other handcraft work when nandhu was playing with her friends. At last I understood at the age of 16, that I am a burden for them, I am the salary less maid for them, I am the money lending machine for them. My parent left some well amount of cash in my name; my mami took everything and made her wealthy. I was forced to stretch dress and do craft work for nandhu's pocket money. If I asked any question then the answer i got pain. The pain which I got was unbearable for me when compare to the pain of not having the wished one. From that time I learnt to keep my wishes within myself rare than getting beating from the long bamboo stick. My mom always will tell me one day a Raj kumar will come from no were and lift me in his hand to fly in air. I waited for my Raj kumar to take me away from this thorn grounded place. I was allowed to learn till 12^th grade because my father had donated a little amount in the school in my name. mami very kindly refused for higher study by saying "a made should not have more knowledge". One day everything started to change around me the reason for changes is I am going to become a bride. A wealthy family came and asked my hand for their second son, yes they are Ranawat well known for their wealth and royal name. it was heard that they belong to royal people, village around my place used to gossip more about them. I was floating in air by hearing my marriage date is fixed. The people in the groom family talked to me very lovingly. At the age 16 I closed my self and created a big wall around me to live the life which I got not to wish for anything, not to love anyone because I can't bear any more losses in my life. Everything happened fast I didn't ask anyone why the engagement didn't happen, why they choose me as a bride. I was too occupied by thinking about future. In their home two person I liked the most one is Maithili jija and another one is Dilsher babusa. They showed me love and respected my wishes for wearing my mom marriage dress on my special day. That place was decorated very brightly, I felt happiness inside me by seeing the brightness. I made to wait in the alter for the arrival of my groom, but waiting never ended. They started to gossip about my bad luck. But that didn't shock me, but hearing the news which broke my heart in to two. My Mami sold me to the groom family for 5laksh. I was sold they are fighting to give back the money as their son didn't turn up. My dream, happy future and beautiful marriage all shattered in front of my own eyes, from childhood I faced a lot in my life, but this made to break me completely I do no weather I will be able to grape myself to live another day. Suddenly I heard Dhisher babusa shouting and then I heard the words which were saying about my marriage again. I looked up to see what made him to tell this but I saw the person standing in front of me. Those eyes it has pain, shock and anger, but that anger went way by looking at me. Then suddenly my mom words came in my heart "one day your Raj kumar will come from nowhere for marrying you " is this what she meant?. At the end of the day I sat in the bed which was not decorated and waiting for the person who tied mangalasutra in my neck and left me the very next moment, whose name is unknown. I sat at the window side by looking at the moon and stars which makes me to feel as if they are my parents. Tears stated to flow by thinking about my wish, all in the life I want only small amount of love but I never got that now also I know my husband will not accept me. He is not a fool to accept a bad luck girl like me. Sun peeped throw the window which made me to wake me up, then only I looked up and felt as I was sitting in the bed. How I ended up in the bed and this comfort around me? Did he come? Did he lift me and placed in the bed? Did he...accept me?
