A SNEAK INTO SHWETA KESWANI'S GHAR KI KAHAHNI...
Actors often find it difficult to shed off their screen image, especially when it is a popular soap — a part of everyone's daily life. One amongst them is Shweta Keswani, still remembered as the vamp of Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Desh Main Nikla Hoga Chand by the viewers. But a personal meeting with the woman in question forces you to change your opinion. We take you into her cocoon that is a true reflection of Shweta's personality — warm, cheerful and friendly.
You are greeted by a sense of serenity the moment you step into the actor's dream abode in suburban Mumbai. The bright and elegant space immediately puts you at ease and a sense of homeliness engulfs you while talking to the pretty actor.
The proud owner enthuses, "I wanted my home to break away from the staid 'apartment look'. As the busy schedule leaves me no time, I roped in Architect Raajeev Kasat after going through the commendable projects he has designed."

In Shweta's home Raajeev has chalked out an interesting layout to match her taste.
The home is a blend of wood flooring with rich and warm decor, where the wooden accents and paintings add a dash of colour. This, according to Raajeev was possible as, "Shweta was very receptive to ideas and we shared a good rapport while designing the home."
The living space has two types of seating arrangement – the formal seating area finds two sofas (one white and the other brown) facing each other, while the printed window drapes provide an interesting backdrop. Little ahead, a niche makes space for the knick-knacks Shweta has been collecting on her trips aboard.
Other side of the living area has wooden flooring segregating the Indian seating arrangement from the rest. The brightly coloured walls perfectly compliment the gadda in bright green with a self design on the border, while the extra dash of rich colours comes from the vibrant cushions. An unusual low-level table and wooden rafters highlighted by the lights create a dramatic mood, making this Shweta's favourite corner.
Her bedroom has a round bed complemented by a curved textured wall and bright window dressing. A touch of warmth comes from the wood-effect veneer used for the wardrobe. One notices wooden rafters demarcating the dressing area from the rest of the bedroom.

Another interesting area is Shweta's parent's room that sports a very subdued palette, where a subtle dash of earthy colours comes as a large niche just behind the sleeping area. Brown tones complement the decor.
An elegant, classy yet simple decor aptly describes Shweta's cocoon as for her the kahani begins and ends here after a hectic day on the sets.
