Sonali~ "Raj, mera rahul..." controlling herself from bursting into tears "mere rahul ko ghar wapas le aiye raj."
Raj~ "Rahul ko kuch nahi hoga sonali. Mujh pe bharosa hai na?
Sonali~ "Aapka beta kidnap ho gaya hai aur aap itne shant kaise hain? Maine pehle to aapko rahul ke baare mein itna calm kabhi nahi dekha raj. Aisa to hain nahi ki aapko rahul ki fikar nahi ho. Phir kya baat hai raj? Bataiye mujhe. Aur satch batana."
Raj reveals that the kidnapping is guru ji's idea and that he wants to try to control the curse. Also to keep everyone safe from the tiger spirit inside rahul, guru ji said that it is better that rahul is kept away from everyone until he can find a way to break that curse. To that Sonali inquires how long will rahul be kept away from everyone and raj informs that no one knows. Sonali bursts into tears thinking that if guru ji cannot find a way to break the curse, she will forever lose her son.
Thinking about rahul, Maanvi controls herself. "Rahul, main tumhe kuch nahi hone doongi. Tum jahan par bhi ho, main aa rahi hoon tumhe bachane." With her new found determination maanvi leaves to meet ACP.
As maanvi rides away in auto, a stranger starts to follow her.
Nisha and Shaleen were in their room discussing about what ACP said. Shaleen was worried that ACP suspects someone trying to frame rahul now that he is kidnapped and just few days ago he also received a letter trying to implicate rahul of neeru's murder.
Shaleen~ "Nisha, mujhe to samaj nahi aa raha main kya karoon. Yadi inspector ko us letter se koi bhi clue milgaya to wo mujhe phasane me ek kasar bhi nahi chodega. Aur to aur dad to meri jaan hi lelenge agar unko pata chala ki rahul to murder ke ilzaam me phasane ke liye ye sab maine kiya hai. Phir mera career? Wo to shuru hone se pehle hi khatam ho jayega!"
Nisha~ "Shaleen Shaleen! Calm down. Aisa kuch nahi hoga. Tum tension mat lo. Tumne letter khud thode hi na likha tha jo inspector ko koi clue mil jayega? Lekin agar tum issi tarah se react karte rahoge to dad ko ya inspector ko tum par shak zaroor ho jayega."
Shaleen~ "Nisha, writing meri bhale hi na ho, par finger prints? Agar galti se koi finger print us letter par reh gaya ho to? Mujhe kuch karna padega Nisha. Wo letter wahan se nikal kar destroy karna padega. Nahi to sab khatam ho jayega."
Nisha~ "Tum aisa kuch nahi karoge Shaleen. Aise to ho sakta hai tum aur phas jaoge. Abhi to tum phir bhi keh sakte ho ki koi rahul ki tarah tumhe bhi phasana chahta hai, par agar kuch bhi galat kadam uthaya aur pakade gaye to tum kuch excuse bhi nahi de paoge shaleen."
Shaleen~ "tumhare liye to kitna asaan hai kehna ki kuch nahi hoga. Phasoonga to main. Tumhara kya hai? Tumne letter thode hi na dala tha wahan par."
Nisha~ "Yeh acha hai. Ek to main tumhari side le rahi hoon. Us par tum mujhe hi suna rahe ho. Wow. You know what Shaleen? Tumhari problem kya hai? Jo humesha tumhare bhale ke liye sochta hai tum usi ko galat sabit karne me lage rehte ho. Ok. Tumhare jo man me aata hai na, karo. Phir baad me jab sab tumhare against ho jayenge tab mujhse koi expectation mat rakhna."
Maanvi reaches police station. ACP was coordinating details with his special team for finding rahul.
ACP~ "...Dekho, ye ek bahut sensitive aur high profile case hai. Commissioner ne iss case ko highest priority dene ke liye kahan hai. Rahul ke kidnapping ki khabar media tak kisi keemat par nahi pahauchni chahiye nahi to rahul ki jaan ko khatara ho sakta hai. Aap sabko sari details aur aapke assignments mil gaye hai. Mujhe har pal ki, har progress ki details pal pal dete rehna. Ok?"
With a nod, all the members takes off to find whereabouts of rahul. Constable escorts maanvi inside and leaves.
ACP~ "Aiye Mrs. Rahul sabarwal. Take a seat. I understand ki aap yahan kyun ayi hain. Par iss waqt main aapse yahi request kar sakta hoon ki aap hum par bharosa kijiye. Hum aapke pati ko kisi bhi keemat par aapke paas sahi salamat wapas layenge. Yeh mera wada hai aapse."
Maanvi~ "Mujhe malum hai inspector sahab ki aap rahul ko dhoodne main koi kami nahi karenge. Par main unki patni hoon. Agar main wapas ghar gayi to rahul ke bare me soch soch kar pagal ho jaungi. Isliye meri aapse request hai ki agar kisi bhi tarah se me koi madad kar sakti hoon to mujhe bataiye." Her worries were clear in her voice and her expressions.
ACP~ "Filhal to abhi mere paas aapke liye kuch bhi nahi hai. Aap ek kaam kar sakti hain." ACP takes out some papers from a file and spreads in front of maanvi and asks "Kya aapne in logo ko pehle kabhi dekha hai? Dhyaan se dekhiye. Ye wo log hai jinko kal raat mere constable ne rahul ko kidnap karte dekha hai. In sab mein se ek bhi familiar lage to hum rahul ko shayad jaldi dhoond sakenge."
Maanvi~ "Nahi. In sab me se kisi ko maine pehle kabhi nahi dekha hai." She felt little disappointed.
ACP~ "Koi baat nahi. Meri team inko jald hi dhoond legi. They have good network of informers. You don't worry. Mujhe bhi apne informers se baat karni hai. To main bhi ab chalna chahoonga."
Maanvi~ "Thank you inspector sahab. Rahul ke bare mein kuch aur pata lage to please mujhe inform kijiyega"
With an agreement ACP takes his leave. Maanvi also keeps playing those images in her head. She has to help in some way to find these people. But where should she start? For some reason she keeps thinking about the area Harsh used to ask maanvi to avoid back at home. He used to tell maanvi stories about that place that loads of crimes keeps happening around that area.
"Par kya ab mujhe us taraf jana chahiye? Wo bhi akele?..." but her worries for rahul made her decide to risk it. "...Nahi. Mujhe apani parwah nahi. Iss waqt mujh se jyada mere liye rahul ka milna zaroori hai. Main aa rahi hoon rahul. Main aa rahi hoon."
Maanvi hires a taxi and asks him to take her to that area. She remains unaware of an unknown person following her.
Back at sabarwal mansion, dadi ji and dada ji were having a serious conversation.
Dadi ji~ "Suno ji, pata nahi iss ghar me kya ho raha hai. Kisi ko zara bhi fursat nahi hai ki maanvi ko bhi pooch le. Jab se rahul ki kidnapping ke bar me pata chala hai, kitni pareshan hai wo. Par nahi. Sabko bas apni apni padi hai. Subah se pata nahi kahan chali gayi hai."
Dada ji~ "To tum hi batao ki kya kare? Police to dhoond hi rahi hai na rahul ko. Aur hum kar hi kya sakte hain?"
Dadi ji~ "Aap to rehne hi do. Aap ko kahan kuch pata hota hai. Bas newspaper padte rehte ko. Nisha to kisi kaam ki hai nahi. Raj maanvi ki koi madad nahi karega. To hume hi maanvi ka saath dena hoga. Mujhe maloom hai ki mujhe aage kya karna hai. Maanvi ghar aayegi tab main us se baat karoongi."
Dadi thinks to herself "Puttar maanvi, koi aur tere man ko samjhe ya nahi, par main sab jaanti hoon. Jab tak tumhe rahul mil nahi jata, tum chup nahi baithogi. Aur koi iss ghar me tumhara saath de ya na de, main tera saath doongi. Zaroor doongi."
Maanvi arrives at the location and looks around. The area is dead silent which was enough to creep her out. But maanvi was determined to go to any extent to save rahul. Maanvi starts to look around a few rows of houses but there seems to be no one living in the area. The place started to get darker as the time passes. Losing any hope of finding rahul, maanvi decides to return home for tonight. But somehow she felt like rahul is around in this area. As maanvi was walking out, she heard three drunks coming through the alley way. These men noticed maanvi all alone in the street.
Drunk 1~ "oye, aaj to kamal ho gaya. Makhan jaisi ladki wo bhi aisi jagah par, raat mein, akeli?"
Drunk 2~ "kya madam, aapko pata nahi hai ki zamaana kitna kharab hai? Itni sunder ladki, aur us par ye chadti jawani... haye."
Drunk 3~ "Aapke liye to acha hai ki hum aagaye. Chaliye hum aapko kisi achi jagah le chalte hain. Iss samay aapka yahan akele ghumna theek nahi."
Maanvi scared "nahi..." starts to run down the street.
Somewhere in a dark room, rahul is unconscious and tied up. Something stirs him up, like a sixth sense. His golden eyes look around the place. He unties himself with his sharp teeth and breaks out through the window ventilator.
His sharp senses picks up a familiar scent in the surroundings. He rushes towards the source.
Maanvi tries to run very hard but she ends up in an alley with dead end. Scared and out of breath she turns around to see her only exit blocked by the same three drunks.
Drunk 2~ "Kya madam, hum to sirf aapki madad karna chahte hai aur aap hain ki hum se hi bhag rahi hain?"
Drunk 3~ "Chaliye humare saath, hum aapko ek dum achi si jagah le chalenge"
Drunk 1~ "Are ab maan bhi jao janeman. Kyun itna satati ho. Kahan bhag kar jaogi ab. Aage to rasta band hai."
They slowly pace towards her when suddenly a sound draws their attention. A guy was standing behind them in the middle of the street.
Drunk 3~ "Ab tu kaun hai be? Dekhta nahi hum busy hai. Chal bhag yahan se, bada aaya hero banane."
With a low growl, the guy charged at that drunk with incredible speed and pulled him in the shadows of the alley. His screams filled the air as the two of them were fighting off. Startled by sudden turn of events, the other two drunks froze for a moment before they jumped in the fighting too.
The battle seemed fierce but due to darkness maanvi couldn't make anything out of it. All she could make out was yelling and what seemed as occasional growls and roars. Soon the yelling turned into small cries in pain and horror. Only one guy remained standing in the end, hiding in the shadows. Maanvi and that guy, both of them kept staring at each other for a few moments and silence broken only by the whimpers of the three drunks on the floor.
Maanvi gathered her courage and took a step towards the guy in shadows. His presence didn't feel like that of a stranger but felt like a person she knows well.
Maanvi whispered "Rahul?..."
The guy turned around and ran off towards the street. Maanvi tried to follow but the guy who just saved her disappeared in the darkness just the way he came out of nowhere.
