is shanti really revealing her behavior?

in order to degrade riya and kick her out of the house, shanti became a hermit. yet, apparently behaves as if she were the orginal shanti. at times, she says like oh ask your madern mahilya/bahuriya to solve the household problems as i have renounced my family and every materialistic thing. but most of the times, she continues to poke around in the household matters just to degrade riya in front of others but then states she's become a hermit and blah blah blah. can't someone really see that she's behaving like the original shanti? will someone ever question or playfully tease her to test her or something?😕
