Sorry for the late post today but man was I tired from doing nothing and missing my day's worth of classes and sleeping. I procrastinate like a pro.
Coming towards the episode: MAN THAT MONTAGE & THAT NEW PROMO. I AM ALL TYPES OF FEELS. I have literally rewetted that promo 7 million times! I hope Zee looks at the most watched Youtube Vid on their channel this week and realizes the power of cheesy love and it melts their commercialized hearts.
Starting with the actual show; I loved Twinkle freely walking around the room in her bathrobe. Although it is not evident whether Knuj would be present in the room given the time, the fact of Twinkle walking with so much free spirt and energy shows how much she has learn the accept the room as hers. I truly found that adorable. Hopefully next time Knuj would appear to be in he room too when Twinkle forgets the clothes?
When you meet a new person, or go on a first date, general reaction to it going on a first date is to make it as much "fun and flirty" through clothes and make up from the girls' perspective. I loved how Twinkle went in for the pink to highlight the emotions of nurturing, empathy, affection and romance. It's a color combination of red = passion and white = insight; however she was quick to embrace the other colors offered to her by Knuj. The color choice from Knuj gives such a beautiful insight into what he wants Twinkle be and appear as. Orange color comes from red = passion, love and yellow = energy, optimism, excitement (A color that Knuj exuberates from his personality).
The Twinkle that Knuj came to appreciate before was the Twinkle he met as a girl in love with life itself along with Yuvi. Her energy and laughter were contagious to him as a person who tries best to enjoy every part of life himself. In last few episodes, it is evident that Knuj wants to make sure he sees the best of Twinkle and brings out the best of her in her whenever he is with her. One of the things he has constantly repeated is making sure that Twinkle is at piece and and always smiling. Picking out a dress for her that highlights and mirrors his feelings was the best way to start out his date. kJ himself in blue, resonating with a calm and composed appearance shows that he knows what he is doing. I said in yesterday's post that Knuj's initiation of this dating thing is for him to figure out where twinkle stands on their relationship, and to give him clarity now that they both have successfully moved passed their old matters of heart.
The interaction between Cherry and Knuj was quite lovable. Knuj's hesitancy to open himself up towards a man who has always been disrespectful towards him was perfectly captured but the playfulness that came afterwards highlighted the familial bond majority of cousins share regardless of how they see each other as an individual.
I love how the creative team has embodied the term "good for nothing" in Cherry's role. He doesn't fit in as a villain and neither does he share any goals with the rest of the family in bringing everyone together or separating them. Cherry's character is of one who is usually looking out for themselves and their interests. The interaction between Knuj and Twinkle was nuts enough for any normal person and Cherry knowing he cannot handle his alcohol that well, was quick to give up on how wondering on the new dynamics between Twinkle and Knuj isn't going to be beneficial for him at all.
>> I don't know if I mentioned this yet in my posts or not but one of the things that has been echoing in my mind is the stark difference between Ms. & Mrs. Amritsar. Twinkle in truest sense won the Mrs. Amritsar and the wife of Knuj Sarna rightfully belongs to him but Ms. Amritsar Taneja did not belong to Knuj and this new journey of rediscovering their relationship is a driving force to make Ms. Amritsar, Knuj's as well. BUT in midst of all of this, it's important to be aware of reality and I think using Usha as a catalyst to change the direction of Knuj's and Twinkle's romance is literally the best. Twinkle has rights and responsibilities as a Sarna bahu and the title she carries that makes sure that she distributes her time evenly. *Knuj coming to Twinkle's defense was one of the defining moments in the scene for me. It showed the value of Knuj's other relationships then herself in Usha's eyes and the realization for Knuj that he will have to give Twinkle enough space to easily walk along with others in the family as well besides him.
Before divulging on the song and the underlying meanings, I want to get the numerology decoding out of the way. Yesterday, Twinkle and Knuj decided on six O' clock being the time of the date and there start of taking up the next half of their relationship But this is a daily soap and there is no romance without a change in circumstances knocking on the door every hour or so. Both, Knuj and Twinkle have now realized how much their need to be on the same page thus they chose six. A number of completeness on the clock that resonates with new beginnings but alongside the number six also stands as the number of the devil and imperfection alongside it's completeness because of the manifestation of human weaknesses that exist in all human actions. < why the time is shown as Twinkle starts working in the kitchen.
Another thing that I got from the showcasing of 6 before 7 was that while Knuj has accepted t walk along with Twinkle, he does not have a lot of answers. To begin with, he does not know the real reason of Twinkle being part of Mrs. Amritsar competition. Twinkle took it upon herself to be the leader to fix things up but she failed to realize that she might take the right route, others will now resulting in Purvi being out of jail. Another thing mentioned in one of my previous posts was that when Knuj finds out about the truth, he will be angry at the hidden facts but will let Twinkle continue on her with clearing Manohar's name. I think Usha's presence in this instance was the necessary to understand the future dynamics.
The clock strikes "seven" just when Kunj comes in and after his indication, Twinkle successfully completes her chores and leaves Usha to attend/stand by the rest of the family. Seven in a number of physical and spiritual completeness by God. A holy number that standouts in Hinduism because of variety of reasons including the appearance it holds. There are seven points of energy on the top and bottom halves of our bodies, there are seven flames of Agni and goddess Durga also has seven manifestations. In a wedding ceremony as well, there are seven rounds taken around the fire and seven vows made. In the spiritual nature of seven and the inclusion of Kunj into the scene indicates the joined forces and teamwork from both Twinkle and Knuj in order to clear Manohar's name in front of the family and world. It is also a number of God's word, tying the revelation up truthfully and completely or once and all.
The story doesn't end yet. Bebe's inclusion into the scene after seven and before the next time in displayed shows her need for answers from Twinkle and her being unsatisfied from Twinkle's reasonings until Knuj comes in. (The time 8.20 is shown after Knuj walks in and stands behind Twinkle.) I love the positioning in this scene. Bebe would herself would be disapproving of Twinkle keeping the facts to herself regardless of her father-in-law's instructions but will only calm down once she finds that Knuj has give his approval, reinstating Twinkle back to the status of Laksmi of the house.
>> The number eight here symbolizes balance, harmony in rebirth of eternity. If anyone from IPKKND forum here read my analyses back when I wrote in IPKKND forum, they would know my love for the number eight. It's the most positive number marking the beginning of new time. Eight is also the avatar count of Lakmi. I said on one of my previous posts that Twinkle's completion of her goal to protect Manohar will help her bring positivity back as the guru ji indicated. Twinkle is basically the teeka for Sarnas that will protect her. The time is however 8.20. 20 is twice of ten an a number of perfection rather then completeness.
**So basically once the whole truth about Manohar is out, Twinkle and Knuj would be able to consummate and do whatever hillbilly stuff they want to do as they would no have any barriers between them. I am however predicting that the confession would happen before because there have been no indications as such by creatives. Probably because of Twinkle's confession that Knuj will believe her story over the physical evidence.
Now, coming onto the song. I love the verses used every instance. Knuj unaware of the entirety is more leaning towards spending time with Twinkle while Twinkle is busy in fixing other's problems throughout and listening out to others. I don't want to go further into the song because it'll literally take me an hour to explain what I want to but i think i can conclude it in easy words that after all the dust will settle down, like every other soap, our hero will have difficult time in isolating his wife to himself. I particularly loved Knuj throwing petals, displaying his devotion to the date and to Twinkle. My reason being, we saw Twinkle spiritually and physically submit herself to Kunj but so far none besides this action signify Kunj's changed stance on their relationship. His subtlety now requires expression.
The hotel scene was cute. Twinkle repeatedly told Kunj to keep things exciting but in turn ends up boring him. Also Kunj keeps on expanding the time limit to more and more hours was adorable. He was confident that being savy and elegance will be score him brownie points with Twinkle but our Knuj Sarna forgot that twinkle has time and time before their wedding, through their deal; explained to Knuj that how much of a low-maintence girl friend she is. She forgives easily and she doesn't need flash to be impressed because she has grown up with all the flash needed so humility will do enough. Both enjoying their time together at the dhabba, eating staple food that signifies the simplicity of their relationship added a beautiful flavor. Yup always tried too hard on dates and such whereas Knuj doesn't need to because being himself is enough for Twinkle. The name of the restaurant also felt like a beautiful inclusion to me. Rakha in punjabi is used as a phrase in goodbyes most of the time, translating into being protected by God. Both have been tied into this relationship by God himself so once they work on it being stronger and having no barriers, they will be protected by their bond itself in front of the world.
I am going to skip over Yuvi because I think i've repeated the same stance of Yuvi's carelessness and him unknowingly playing cupid quite a number of times in the past week. This dude is so brash, he is not realizing that his facade is spilling through cracks in front of Mahi.
Knuj leaving the roses out for Twinkle shows his love and passion through his choice of flowers but Yuvi has to do something stupid because his mygonistic brain considers Twinkle to be an object. I love the play of words and nature. Yuvi intends to ruin the relationship between Knuj and Twinkle but instead he gives their relationship a more stronger foundation by removing himself way earlier. His existence now is more irrelevant to Knuj and Twinkle as ever before.
The next morning activities are very much symbolic in terms of the progress both Kunj and Twinkle made with their first date. Twinkle wearing violate symbolizes her fullfillmen and satisfaction and peeling the oranges symbolizes the bright beginnings and hopeful tomorrows. I didn't understand Usha's position in the scene besides maybe being aware about Knuj's happiness growing with Twinkle. Hopefully time will tell what her role in between the two is.
The next prominent scene Twinkle unknowingly putting on wheat and Knuj realizing and trying to wipe it away. Wheat is a symbol of love, charity and self-sacrifice being a staple. One of the qualities the Twinkle has and Knuj is not fond of is her self-sacrificing nature for the people she loves. Her new profound feelings for Knuj will leave her vulnerable to once again taking impulsive decisions to make sure that she in her power will have Knuj as happy as ever. But this would not be ignored by Knuj who will remind her that even though the are a power team, they are two individuals and she should not do anything that jeopardizes her happiness for him.
The rest of the scene in itself was beautifully captured. Twinkle hiding her glee to remind Knuj about the power she holds in their relationship and Knuj asking her o put the wheat back but she ends up playfully teasing him. The normality in their relationship is a refreshing change. SubhanAllah playing in the back was such a perfect moment. I think there is already an analysis out on the song by Meghana so i won't bore you all with details of the song being present here.
Also the end was hilarious imo. Cherry calling Yuvi out on being a stupid majno but also agreeing to go to the movies for all the samosas he hasn't had in a while. I bet Bebe only agreed because she realizes that it'll be hard for her Cherry putter to find a girl with all the concentration he's putting on food rather then on the movie.
I think I went too over board again. should probably stick to analyzing from class so I am brief and short. Please leave behind your views on this as well.
