Meera phones Vidhya and asks her if everything is alright there. She insists on the question twice, indirectly asking for Dharam's whereabouts. Dharam is sitting outside during work and is looking at Meera's picture on his phone. Just then, the truck loses grip and slowly slides towards him. Vidhya shouts for Dharam and this alerts Meera who fears for him.

Meera dramatically runs for Dharam (inspired from Devdas end scene) and reaches the hospital where she grabs hold of his hands and cries. She wishes Dharam would open his eyes and he does but he is slightly conscious so he believes he is dreaming about Meera. He goes unconscious again.

Meera folds her hands in front of Dharam and tells him she has a lot of respect for him, that she knows he has helped her a lot and also that he loves her truly but she doesn't love him. She says this with her eyes down. Dharam asks if she is saying this to console herself or him? Meera says she will leave if he doesn't believe her. Dharam refuses and tells her she can stay in their room as she is the malkin of the house, and he will stay in the guest room.

Before Dharam goes, he advises Meera that it's fine if she doesn't love him but she shouldn't expect him to forget her as he will never be able to do that. He says many times people have dust in their eyes but they keep cleaning the mirror. - Epic line, describes Meera's denial perfectly.

No Dheera interaction.

Vidhya does ask Meera about Dharam and Meera says she doesn't love him but it is evidently clear in her expressions that she is forcing herself to say this.

Dharam walks into their room to see Meera sleeping and gently covers her with the duvet. When Dharam goes, she gets up and peeks from the window at him. At the same time, Dharam looks behind and smiles knowing Meera is safe and sound in bed.

Dharam is carving a heart from wood. Meera walks near the room and noticing this, Dharam makes sure he looks good and carries on his task. Meera looks to see what he is doing and is tempted to go in but Vidhya calls for her. Dharam sings a song for her.

Guara plans on making Meera fall down the stairs. However, Dharam saves her on time and in the process, hurts himself. Meera is concerned and checks if he is alright. Some blood falls on the wooden carved heart which he gifts to Meera as a Valentines gift. He tries to say the word but he can't so Meera says it for him. She feels guilty because of Durga's presence and runs away as usual.

Meera is tying bandage to Dharam's wound and is saying it is because of her he got hurt and that's why she is doing this. Dharam says it doesn't matter, he won't break so easily. Meera says if he loves her truly, he will do anything she says and Dharam agrees. So she takes his hand and leads him downstairs. Meera tells Dharam to take God's oath and say he loves her. Dharam agree and does so. He then tells her to do the same but she must say she doesn't love him. Meera takes the diya and swears that she has never not loved him. She declares her love for him finally.

Dharam hugs Meera in sheer happiness that she finally accepted the truth. However, Meera starts crying. She says that he is her Kanaji but maybe she can never be his Rukhmani (Krishna's wife) in this life because of Durga. She says maybe it is in her destiny to live up to her name Meera (Krishna's devotee), and be Dharam's Meera for the rest of her life. She tells him to sign the divorce papers which Dharam does but only for her, to prove his love is not selfish or fake. Both Dheera are crying during this scene.

No Dheera interaction. Dharam is doing havan for Gopi's fast recovery. He does mention it's because Gopi is Meera's mum so in short, he is doing this for Meera.

Meera returns to the Suryavanshi house and sees Dharam doing the havan. She tells him to stop doing it and eat some food, he must be hungry. Dharam answers her quite sternly that "I'm not going to die" and also mentions how the young generation will not understand the meaning of havan and fasting. Meera says he doesn't need to do all this as their relationship is over so Gopi is not related to him.

Dharam snaps back at that comment and says "Even if I forget our relationship for a moment, Gopi is still related to me through Vidhya". Meera is slightly miffed.

Meera returns to the Suryavanshi house because of a clause in the divorce formality that they have to stay together for six months before confirming it.

Dharam finally breaks his fast once he realises Gopi and Kokila are safe. When he is distributing the sweets, he gives two sweets to vidhya saying she should give it to her sister. He ignores Meera who seems surprised by this sudden change in him.

Meera takes Dharam's hand and takes him to their room, saying he shouldn't sleep in the guest room but in this room. She says only Dharam and Durga have a right to be in that room, and she officially gives Durga the right to be with Dharam. Guara interrupts their conversation, saying Dharam isn't a toy whom Meera can play with whenever she feels like and throw away later. But Dharam stops Guara and let's Meera do what she is doing. However, he doesn't sleep in the room, he goes outside and sleeps on the swing instead. Meera cries once she is inside the guest room, she questions herself why it hurts to let Dharam go, even though it is the right thing to do.

When Dharam wakes up, he wonders if he is daydreaming because he saw Meera staring at him from the window. Meera was in fact, staring at him. She was even relieved for a moment that him and Durga didn't share the same room but forces herself to not think like that.

Meera is in her room full of rats whilst Dharam is practising wrestling and gets wounded. He wonders, "I have got wounded many times but why does this small wound today, hurts me so much?" - Dharam's wound symbolises Meera's struggle with the wound. What she feels, he feels 😳

Dharam rescues Meera from the rats. He picks her up and suffers rat bites during the process but he doesn't seem hurt, his concentration is on Meera and making sure she is unhurt. They reach the Modi house soon after. There, Meera tries to do the 'right' thing and bring Durga and Dharam closer. First when Dharam is doing the arti, Meera brings Durga to join him. He doesn't protest and let's things be and Meera looks down, she clearly doesn't feel happy. Then when the garba dance is going on, Meera takes hold of Dharam's hand and leads him towards the floor. Dharam smiles thinking Meera wants to dance with him whilst all the Modis give disapproving looks. It turns out Meera wanted Dharam and Durga to dance together. - God can Meera get anymore annoying!
