They say Karthik Jayram is not really happy that his voice is getting dubbed for the show. However, the makers say that he has a south Indian touch and therefore, the dubbing will continue to be done by Hindi artist.

wat u guys have to say abt it?

I feel ravan's dubbed voice is ok and is well suited to Karthik's personality and dialogue delivery.

Dubbing was a good decision

However the dubbing voice could be even better

I am kinda Okay ! No complains .
But Karthik's voice is more good.
That dialogue delivery wud be diff wen he himself dubs it.
Voice is one of the actors instrument , if its missing , Actor is kinda Incomplete.

My POV .

Yeah dats true..from actor's POV, he feels kinda incomplete if dubbing is not done by the actor himself. But from show's POV, dubbing is okay. Personally I feel Karthik's voice is very strong and wud have suited for Raavan's dialogues a lot or may be perfectly, but only if he cud let go of his accent. South Indian accent is a bit distracting for raavan's dialogues.

Yes, Wish he could do that . He has got an amazing voice .
He is known for his dialogue delivery in Kannada industry .
But then, however good he is in speaking HIndi , he ll have that south touch.
Anyways , Lanka is in south as well . If makers give a second thought abt it .

I am ok with it. Am from north and well aware of hindi accent, when I heard his hindi it disturbed me

I think as Ravan is from the south it does make sense that he would have an accent however I notice that when he is speaking in Hindi his voice cannot convey the right emotions while now he just have to focus on getting the body language right I suppose...
