The episode starts with Ram and company reaching Shanta's ashrum. (Finally! I actually was waiting for her to come back on screen in Siya Ke Ram. Really loved her meeting with Ram last time. And it was so emotional with her mother too.) Ram tells Sita because of Shanta all 4 brothers were born. He says you will be happy meeting her. Sita says when you asked father for permission to meet Shanta didi I was very eager to meet her, I was unsure of why I felt like that. She says but now I understand after coming here. Ram says she lives in the lap of nature and lives a simple life, and you were also born on natures womb (That's a great comparison actually, never thought of that!).
They walk towards Shanta's aashram and she opens the door. (She looks so confused and scared seeing them, dont think she knows who they are. I actually thought she would recognize Ram right away.) Ram says didi and the big smile comes on Shantas face, she finally realizes all 4 brothers are here.(The happiness when she realized it was them was just so cute!) She is happy they are here. Ram says after wedding, without meeting you and without getting your blessing, it would have been impossible to go to Ayodhya. Shanta is so happy, she runs inside to get the aarti-taali. Shanta does everyones aarti and blesses them. (Loving this scene, the sisterly love is so adorabale. Really missed her!)
Madodari comes to her moms friend (Really, she is coming like she owns the place. Looks so rude.) She tells her she is her friends daughter and she is looking for the amrit-kalash. The devi freaks out hearing that. Madodari tells her she is doing this to save her husband Raavans life. Devi says even if I tell you were the amrit-kalash is their is no point, because no one can get it. Madodari asks why, and she tells her that only pure hearted and pure souls can get it. Mandodari says take me to that pure place.(A please would have been nice lol)
Shanta said she always thought whoever married my brothers would be very lucky, but now after seeing you 4, I think that its my brothers fortune that they got wife's like you. She is certain the 4 brothers will always keep their wifes happy. However she says, expectations are natural, so if they make any mistake so please forvie them. Lakshman says you have already started taking their sides. Shanta says right now I am, but reach Ayodha and everyone will be taking the ladies side. Shatrugan says that true, and before reaching Ayodhya we should realize that fact and accept it (LOL poor guy gave up!)
Ram says Shanta didi, Sita wants to say something to you. Shanta says without fear. Shanta says tell me without fear, its your right. Sita says in the in-law bhabhi and nanand relation they can share happiness and sorrow, she obeys sister and friends duties, so we have all come to take you back to Ayodhya. Shanta is shocked.
Shanta says Sita whenever I heard about Mithila, it was impossible if you were not in it. I had heard a lot about you, but today I learn that your inside beauty is way more beautiful then the outside. She said she would have been happy if she could spend time with them, but she is a married women. Just like how the girls are leaving Mithila, that is my maayka. (I really wanted her to go! Does she ever go back and visit? I mean just cause she is married doesnt mean she isnt allowed to see her family anymore, does it?) Now this is my world. My duty is to take care of my husband and my in-law and so I am following that dharm. She says she knows staying away from your maayka, it is very hard, but I bless you that you all get so much love and happiness that you dont miss your maayka. She wishes them well on their married life and blesses them. She says rest here today night and tomorrow morning you can leave for Ayodhya. Ram says we would, but their whole Ayodhya would be waiting. Shanta gets upset and says you have comes after so long, and first time with your wifes, dont you want to spend time here. (Awwee she got so sad.) Sita says we should agree to didi. Ram says ok. Shanta gets happy! She says you all rest here, and will prepare dinner. Sita says she will come along.
Going to fast forward this- basically madodari comes to that pure place and prays to god to give her that amrit kalish.(I will be so mad if they do, just to save Raavan! So not fair). And they do! OOMMGGG!!!! So unfair! Raavan is a sinner and they are saving him.
Shanta and Sita are making dinner. Shanta says Sita in your eyes I have seen so much love for Ram. She says what more could a sister want, I am very happy to see such love and compatibility between you two soon after marriage. Its outstanding. She asks Sita what are the qualities of Ram that she likes. She says you dont have to hesitant to say anything to me.She says bhabhi and nanand relationship is based on truth. She says she accepted marriage with a Rishi for some reason, and she didnt even know him. She just knew she had to marry him. She says such love was possible when I started my life with him. And today, she is very happy. Sita says to Shanta your happiness is evident. Shanta says I asked you because you looked happy with Ram. Sita says any girl would like to see the qualities she saw in her dad. What an ideal husband is, she has learned from her mom and dad. She tells Shanta how her dad gave her mom the right to her own opinions, he saw her as a person before a wife, and he never tied her down to any rules. She says she saw the same qualities in your brother. He gave me respect, he gave importance to my likes and dislikes, his heart has not just for me but for the whole society compassion, patience and courage etc. She says when someone has so many qualities, love is bound to happen, right. (She has a good point. I mean who could possibly not like someone like Ram. Hes just too sweet and mature). They both smile.
