So i was going through some BW articles and came across this, and i loved it so had to share it.

I am not an ardent SRK admirer, but i like him as an actor and this line, "You cannot hate a movie where SRK dies" is absolutely true! I maybe disliked SRK in some movies but none of them is the one he died in.
Actually the point of my topic is that SRK is tagged as the king of romance but for me he is infact the king of tragedy and the king of flawed heroes. I have not enjoyed tragedy on any BW actor more than SRK.
May it be Darr, Raam Jaane, Baazigar, Anjaam, Dil Se, Kal Ho Na Ho, Devdas, he had a tragic fate in Mohabbatien, even his cameo in Shakti, God i cried so much .. he so wanted to got to Dubai .. đ .. he brings a certain sincerity and connectivity to your hearts that by the time movie ends, all there left is SRK and his ill fate.
It is a universal fact that human beings remember and love tragedy more than a comedy. Human beings are sadistic by nature, they take pleasure in pain, and SRK has excelled in this department.
His tragic flaws in Darr, Baazigar and Anjaam, and his ill fate in Devdas, Kal Ho Na Ho and Dil Se has left a niche in our hearts.
Its like SRK has captivated two most life lasting emotions through his acting. Romance and Tragedy.
Some remember him as a romantic but for me his tragedy is what will always have a fan in me for him.
aNd before ending, i would like to mention one of my most fav tragedy scenes, and that is from Kal Ho Na Ho.
It where Saif and Preity get to know about SRK's illness and he runs behind Saif and tries to talk him into how he was working to keep them both together and Saif gets pissed and says ..
"agar tum meri jagah hotey tu kya karte?
and he replies ..
"Kash main tumhari jagah hota .. "
The longing, the helplessness, the wish. It was a beautiful scene!
