Mahi aur Yuvraaj ki Prem Kahani Ka Soundtrack (Updated)

I was wondering if they have a song...I don't think they do but I could be wrong cause I usually end up skipping through their scenes. Either way, here are some songs I think would suit them.

I. The Falling in Love

Agar Tum Mil Jao
Teri Deewani
Tum Jo Aaye
Bahara Bahara
Sun Saathiya
Sanam Re

Why These Songs: All of these songs portray a very attached, dependent relationship. The girl wants to completely immerse herself in the boy and is rather blinded by him. I think it works well with Mahi being obsessed with Yuvraaj to the extent she is.


II. The Falling Out of Love (Post Reveal)

Aitbaar Nahi Karna
Yeh Kasoor
Hamari Adhuri Kahani
Kabhi Jo Baadal Barse (Female)
Preet

Why These Song: They all speak of a betrayal of love and the after effect of reflecting on the relationship. As much as Yuvraaj mistreats Mahi, I am sure she will miss him because she genuinely had feelings for him. Given her self esteem, anxiety, etc., she may blame herself.


III. Redemption/Yuvraaj In Love

Mast Magan
Banjaara
Zaroorat
Phir Mohabbat
Tujhe Bhula Diya
Khawabon Main
Woh Ladki Bohot Yaad Aati Hai

Why These Songs: They speak of the pain of losing something good, the very essence of knowing the worth of something after it is away from you. Yuvraaj is really manipulating and hurting Mahi and should he fall in love with her it will be a rather poignant love story.

What do you think? Which do you think is best or if you have any suggestions of our your own?

Perfect song selection Meg! You really have an ear for music don't you. Just out of curiousity do you sing or play and instrument? I also think Bas Itni Si Tamanna even if it was originally a Yuvle bg, would also suit MahiRaj. Mainly because it also speaks of dependency.

I'm actually sad that I agree with you for once 😆 Because Agar Tum Mil Jao, Teri Dewani, Tum Jo Aaye, and Sun Saathiya are hella favorites of mine and I don't want to see them for MahiRaj cause ew. But they are apt, especially Agar Tum Mil Jao cause it shows how deep Mahi is. And my favorite for after reveal would be Humari Adhuri Kahaani. You chose really good ones! But I still don't wanna see my favorite songs being ruined for these fools 😆

Yes! Most of these songs are among my favorites. Even I hesitated picking them for Mahi and Yuvraaj but then gareeb [pyaar ke gareeb, that is] samajh kar de diya, LOL. I can't wait for this track to be over to see the aftermath of Yuvraaj and Mahi.

Thank you so much for your kind words! Haha, not sure if I have an ear but I do love music very much. I'm flattered you think my opinions on the songs and music is so apt! I don't sing and I played the violin (poorly) for about a year. I think I'm more of a dancer (not a good one, haha but I love it nonetheless). Thanks for asking. Yes, Bas Itni Si Tamanah Hai would be great too- their relationship is so unbalanced that they need a song that reflects her dependency on him.

You really don't have to say thank you because you really do deserve all the praise. About the songs you just updated: I love them! I think When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars would also work but obviously it's an english song so idk.

Yes! I love that song too. Bruno Mars has a great voice. I also like Grenade by him but that would be more for Mahi than Yuvi.
