"His daughter"

He remembers his meeting with Aashi, same eyes as him, the instant attachment, he felt with her.

Feeling his arms no more around her and lack of response, Khushi parted her face from his chest and looked above at his face, who was already looking down at her, still stunned with the realization. Reality dawned upon her, she has blurted out the truth, she never wanted him to know in this way. She instantly took step back and that broke Arnav 's trance.

Arnav: Khushi! Aas... umm.. What? You were... Dammit! He swore when he failed to even form a sentence.

Khushi was going to turn back when he again started.

Arnav: Aashi! He gulped. My daughter?

Khushi closed her eyes, gulping her emotions and nodded looking down, guiltily for not telling him.

But before they can talk anything else, Lavanya came there.

Lavanya: Khushi! Doctor is calling.

Both Arnav and Khushi hurried to the doctor's cabin.

Arnav: What happened? My daughter is fine. Right? Arnav bombarded doctor with questions as soon he entered inside the cabin.

Khushi looked at Arnav with tears, how good it feels to hear from his mouth calling Aashi "His Daughter".

Dr: Relax! She is fine. Her leg has temporary fracture and few other scratches but she needs blood as her body is week and she have lost blood in accident.

Khushi: ok! You can take my blood.

Dr: I understand your emotions but we can't take anyone's blood. It needs to match Aashi's blood.

Dr: Are you both patient's biological parents?

Khushi/Arnav: yes!

Dr: Then I guess there'll be no problem. I'll ask nurse to check your blood group and if it's match with Aashi's then great otherwise we'll look in blood banks.

Both nodded and left with nurse for blood test. All the time Khushi was scared of Arnav's reaction once Aashi is fine, so Arnav was still trying to understand is it reality or some dream.

After some time, Khushi was pacing in corridor, Arnav is inside giving blood to Aashi as his blood got matched and Lavanya is left back to home.

Arnav ji has not spoken a word to her from the time he have got to know about Aashi. He is always beside her, giving her support silently but avoiding looking into her eyes. Now it's scaring her, is he unhappy? He didn't wanted the child, is that the reason?

She was still thinking when she saw Arnav coming out, she rushed to him.

Khushi: Are you ok? You should have something, you have diabetes and giving blood is not a good option for you.

Arnav looked away sliding her hands away which were holding his arms and nodded.

Arnav: I'll have it later. Doctor said we can meet Aashi after two hours.

Khushi: ok but you are having something now and I don't want to listen anything, with that she held his arm again and dragged him to canteen.

Khushi looked nervously at Arnav for any type of reaction but he was looking down at the cup of coffee in his hands.

Khushi: Arnav ji I wanted to tell you... She started but Arnav cutts her.

Arnav: Khushi we'll talk later. For now we should just look after Aashi.

Khushi: ok.

After one week

Now Aashi is back to home and Arnav is staying at Khushi's place because of Aashi. They have still not talked but both were waiting for the time.

Arnav looked at Aashi who have slept on his lap after playing with his mobile. He caressed her cheeks softly as he remembered her reaction when she saw him in hospital.

When Aashi opened her eyes, Arnav and Khushi was hovering upon her, first she was confused with her surroundings but soon forgot everything seeing her Mumma in tears and she started consoling her in her babyish language. Arnav admired the duo when he saw Aashi looking at him curiously and then she grinned as she recognized him.

Aashi: Aachu's flend(Aashu's friend)! What are you doing here? Looking at Khushi " Mumma he bought me that big teddy bear" and she continued to blabber when suddenly she winced when she tried to got up.

Arnav: Don't! You need to rest princess! I csme here to meet you when I got to know that you're hurt.

Aashu: shachi? (Sachi/ Really)?

Arnav: Yes!

Aashu: umm... But Aashu's flnd(friend) what should I call you?

Arnav looked at her stunned what to answer, his daughter asking him what should she call him.

Arnav(smiling sadly): Whatever you like princess.

Aashu: Tell me your name?

Arnav: Arnav Singh Raizada.

Aashu(giggling): Your name is so like you.

Arnav: I know therefore people calls me ASR.

Aashu: Aashu will also call you that then! Arnav was going to nod when Khushi interrupted.

Khushi: No! You can't call him by his name, he is elder to you.

Arnav: Khushi it's ok.

Khushi: No it's not.

Khushi(sitting beside Aashi): Aashu my baby! You will call him papa.

Aashu(confused): Papa? but...

Khushi: Aashu Listen up! He is your father. You wanted to meet him na? So he's here.

Aashi(wide eyes): Aachu's flnd ish Aachu's papa? Khushi nodded and Aashi looks at Arnav before smiling and lifted her hands only to wince in pain.

Arnav: carefull!

Aashi: But Aachu wants to hug Papa, she confessed innocently and Arnav felt so much overwhelmed with emotions.

Arnav carefully lifted her in his arms and hugged her, careful to not hurt her. Khushi looked at both of them happily and wiped her tears.

Aashi: Aachu missed her papa sho much.

Arnav cried hearing her words feeling so helpless.
