In the floor below, Urmi sang, not exactly in tune, but a voice that was really beautiful. She loved old hindi songs, as she prepared breakfast for herself in her spick and span kitchen, the music always played along with her cooking.
It was 7.30 in the morning. She looked out of the window, smiled as she sipped her steaming cup of coffee.
Damn, she muttered, rolled her eyes as she looked at her ceiling. Elvis was singing really loud. She loved music. But oh not now..
Wish the music would stop. All she wanted was to rest awhile after a long day at work. She was a event Manager.
It was 7 in the evening.
A couple of months, she comforted herself. She will be moving into her own flat in Mumbai.
She closed her eyes, leaned back, drowning Elvis with Latha Mangeshkar.

Couple of months and he will be moving away. His mom was busy on the hunt for a bride. Back to Mumbai it was going it.
A cheeky smile lingered on his lips.
He turned towards his work desk.
A bunch of photos where moving on his laptop in a slide show.
His eyes lingered on a particular photo. Yukthi he read.
The picture moved on.
It was a Sunday, a trip to the Mall was a must for kiran. He got off the lift and nearly got thrown down by a flying figure in red.
I am so sorry , her bags were scattered all over the place. I am so sorry Urmi she repeated, I was in a hurry.
Its ok, he murmured, as he helped her pick up the bags.
Their eyes met briefly.
She turned and ran towards the waiting taxi, thank you she called out before she got it.
