I understand the point about Sanjay Dutt's life having a lot of complexity for exploration. But is Hirani really going to make a movie geared towards that? His forte is funny, simple, relatable stuff. Something dark or even heavy...I don't see how he'll pull it off, unless they're only going to focus on a certain, selected episode in Sanjay's life and build a typical Hirani type story around that. If it's really a full on biopic, it seems like too ambitious of a project...and not to mention controversial. Really wish there was another story than this one to expect from him.

I think coz of the drugs and his family problems + the criminal cases against him. Bt I dnt knw why ppl would be interested to watch him

Are you kidding ? His life story is better than what most fictional writers can come up with. Famous parents, politics, drug use, multiple wives, death of a spouse young, divorce, crime, jail, films it's all there. You can't write a story like his even if you wanted to. I would love a very honest biography, but we will get a sanitized version and that is what I don't like. But if they ever write a book or make a movie, I will buy the book and/or watch the movie because even the sanitized version has better elements than many if not most BW scripts.

Coz he was a huge star in his time, and his life has been like that of salman.

I think a biopic on Sanjay Dutt is good.

It shows despite him being a movie star and wealthy.

He committed a crime and was jailed. Good deterent. No criminal is safe

Is he a criminal ?? He had some friends who were involved... His friends asked for some place where they can keep the truck ... He didn't knew what was in the truck ...Do we check our friends' things whenever they came and ask to keep their things for sometimes? I don't think many do it ...

Of course everyone has their own version... but I dont believe a man with such innocent eyes could be involved in such a thing knowingly... his soft heart reflects through his eyes ...


A biopic on him will be interesting ... He was a drug addict .. his mother and first wife died of cancer ...it will be interesting to see how he overcome all these ... As he himself says, yes he was a star kid ...but his parents and life never treated him like one ...
