In the precap he tells nidhi that Ishita escaped phaasi and then jail so he had to kill her because he wanted their plan to be successful but then thats not true, Ishita didn't escape just like that . Raman took someone's help inside the jail to see to it that Ishita isn't hanged. He was waiting right outside, which goes to show he knew Ishita will be coming out that way. And the dialogues he said to her seemed so real. I think Ishita was adamant that she should go back to prison and he had no time that is why he pushed her without explaining anything to her. Also he said something like "main tumhe jahan bhej raha hu wahan tum safe rahogi".

But how he knows that Ishita will try to escape from the jail .

Ishita first tried to go back the way she fell down. It was closed she had no other way but to break the wire fencing amd go the way she did. This explains that it is a plan definitely.
