In my knowledge, they can file a case because nobody claimed Nimboli for 12 years. This gives them the edge to ask for Nandini's custody.
But because of Mangala's financial conditions and the hostile environment in which N lived for 12 years (missing out on basics like education, or child marriage etc) will make the case stronger in Anandi's favour.

Anandi doesn't deserve sole rights on N because she is the biological mother. Or because she lost her child unwillingly. If investigations are made on how Anandi lost her child or what she did to find her daughter in the 12 years, even her parenting skills and efficiency will prove to be inadequate.

But the fact that she can provide the basics to the child and her surroundings / environment are full of well educated people as opposed to Mangala's hostile environment, the child will be given in Anandi's custody.

However, if this case goes in court (which I doubt will happen), then atleast M will get full permission to keep in touch with N, even if Anandi or Dsa may not like it.

@ TM. Good topic. I wish CVs can bring this up. I don't care if Mangala loses but I want to see how courts /law will treat a woman and her emotions / rights over a baby that she protected and raised.

They can file a case against Anandi but Mangala has told a truck load of lies to the child about her mother because of which she didn't want to go to her mother.
I really hope Mangala files a case so that all the lies will come out in the open.

Anandi can produce the records of going to stop a child marriage and also can produce the complaint she filed against the kidnapper complete with the description of the kidnapper.

Anandi can also produce the details of all the searching she had done 11 years to find her child.
The very fact that the case was not closed as missing perhaps dead tells that Anandi had been persisting using available means.

So it is Mangala who will be in trouble and also based on all the things that she had done to the child she can be charged with kidnapping as well as child abuse.

Police also can give explanation as to how kidnap happened and how they couldn't find the criminal despite having a description of him.

Would be happy if Mangala's lies come out. It will bring a change to the story as well as the reasons behind those lies and the hard work this stranger woman put in while raising someone's child

I don't expect M to win. But why should a foster mother's efforts, love and affection (in her given circumstances), go unnoticed?

Let everyone see through M's love and possessiveness as well Anandi's love and carelessness.

I really want the case to go to court.
If Mangala knows what is good for her she will not go to court.

She was the one who made Akheraj and Harki do the child marriage she concealed the crime of Akheraj and Harki.

Despite knowing that the child has been kidnapped as a revenge against the child's mother she did not report the crime.

Only because of the circumstances she might get away and the court will most likely leave it to Anandi and her daughter to decide whether they want to grant her visiting rights or not.

If Mangala's lies and all that she did with Anandi's children the court may appoint a psychologist/psychiatrist to have Mangala's mental health checked and probably packed off to a mental health centre.

Going to court was a logical option, but given M's status and illiteracy - it wasn't expected. In real life, yes courts have given verdict in favor of people like M instead of giving custody to biological parents. If this was a real life situation, I would have liked to see the case going to court. But in BV - all the court cases were useless crap. So, I don't want to see one more of illogical court case.

Yes circumstances matter. And decisions taken in certain circumstances will be seen in a different light..
If Anandi can get away for her carelessness stating that "she was saving another child"

then Mangala too can be understood for Nimboli's bal vivah "as the only way to save her from Akhiraj's sword"

In fact neither Anandi nor Nandini knows that she was once under Akheraj's sword when she was an infant. If court is the way to bring it out, so be it.

There is lot of good that Mangala has done, let it all come in light. At the end of it she will lose to the rich wealthy bio but careless mother. Doesn't matter. But M's goodness will also have its own place along with her possessiveness.

In fact a court track will be interesting and relevant.

Courts don't send anyone to mental health center just for telling lies 😆. But if the court really look what happened to Anandi's children and why it happened, they will surely put them in State home or foster care.😛

I agree with you. If makers knew hoe to handle things better they woudn't have made Anandi dumb and Mangala evil
Both were good women to begin with, but one became dumb and another one possessive.

So you are right, a court drama wouldn't fetch much.

I was actually excited, but almost forgot that it wont be a real court case but a dramatic direction of CV's self-created law / theory. Who knows how that will be handled.
