Neerja is not a FICTIONAL character...she is a REAL person...and if her parents thought that Sonam Kapoor was their laado...then who the hell are we to speculate...nah not going to disrespect her parents' wish and Neerja by speculating on this one...somethings should be beyond the regular speculations and gossips.

Even Neerja's family embraced Sonam and think she did a great work. That's important to point out imo because Neerja's family didn't ask for a remuneration. Their only demand was that the movie does justice to Neerja.

So in this regard, I don't think they are biaised which means they are sincere when they say such things

Also, I don't think anyone could have promoted the movie the way Sonam and the team did. It was very selfless and respectful.

They wanted the movie and the promos to be centered around Neerja so that It would be all about her.

That's one of the reasons why I love Sonam. She can be very selfless and gives her all to every one of her projets.

So no, I don't think any other actress could have done all of this the way Sonam has.

Haven't watched the film yet, but so far have only read positive reviews, except for the one by Sneha May Francis who said that the makers should have cast someone else.

She looked a lot like NB
Also their voice had uncanny similarities
She was apt for this role! Very good casting choice.

Sonam did the role very well and if faily of Late. Neerja has no problem, then we are no one to object.😛 For the first time in my life I am complementing Sonam on acting.😆

No body cant be Neerja except sonam its sonam film,just like piku owned by deepika or bhag milkha bhaag owned by Farhanor or dattu/rani owned by kangana.BR]Neerja is tailore made role for sonam 👏 and boy! She did it.
Secondly would like it to add the hard critics like shubrha,raja SEN applauded Sonam 👏 like anything
