Guys I have question
why do all Indian love stories have a tragic ending???

I was feeling really bored 2day so I went on the net n typed in
famous Indian love stories …..
n all the love storied I read had a tragic ending to it!!!

PRC n sanyo – who lived a short marriage life…n than killed themselves.

Ram n Sita
– got married but because of Ram citizens , they got separated.
At this time Brahma, Sankara, and many demigods and goddesses came, curious to see this event. Sita devi sent Luv and Kusa ahead to their father. She arrived thereafter, and Valmiki spoke gently to her, "O daughter, Sita devi. Come forward and prove your chastity." Sita devi said, "Mother, please prove this to one and all, that I have never served any other man. I have never even had thoughts of any man other than Rama in my whole life. Please accept me, mother." Pritivi-devi appeared from the earth and Sita sat on her lap on a golden throne. In a moment, Prthivi-devi completely covered Her. In other words, she took Sita devi with her, back under the Earth. Rama couldn't bear to see Sita leave him like this, and he fainted. Then, when he returned to consciousness, he prayed to Prthivi-devi, requesting her to bring back Sita. He told her, "One time I went with a bow to the ocean and he was very much afraid. So I can turn you into dust in a moment." Just then Brahma came and told Rama, "No. Don't do it! This is the last time. Sitaji has gone to your own abode, so you should very quickly wind up your pastimes and go there."

Krishna n Radha
– Radha waited 4 Krishna all her life…but Krishna didn't have the courage to marry her (so I've heard)

Shah Jahan- Mumtajmahal 👏 they lived happily for a looong time.......had 14 children😕

For that matter i would even include Sanyogita'a and Prithvi's love story a happy one -they throughly enjoyed the little bit of time that they spent together 😊

Ram n Sita
– got married but because of Ram not having faith on Sita, they got separated.

RON Please get your facts right!!😡😡 Ram bhagvan did have faith on Sita Maa. He knew Sita Maa was pure, but as a king he needed proof for his citizens which he didn't have. If Ram bhagvan accepted Sita Maa, he would lose his citizens faith. Thus, as a King ram chose to duties over his personal happiness👏👏

Sorry if i sounded rude, but please edit your post.

ACTUALLY..UR quite wrong...YES..THEY ARE THOROUGHLY DEPRESSING...But,I will not say that PRC- Sanyo had a VERY tragic life...THEY DID..But,they FULLY & MORE enjoyed their the very li'l time that they had together.. Also,it was NOT that Krishnajee did not have the courage to marry her..Radhajee was elder to Krishnajee..This posed a problem...& in the meantime, she was betrothed to some-one else..There-fore,he had to back down.. Also,Rukimini TRULY Loved Krishnajee..MUCHH more then alll his wives(& he had MANYYY) did..So,he promised her that ppl will come to know that He,Lord Krishna, had only two wives'..Radha.. & Rukmini..They say that Rukmini's Love for him melted him quite a lot..But,only to an extent..He never truly Loved any woman, after Radha

i dunno if you could consider shah jahan-mumtaaz as eternl lovers. A person must have emotions to fall in love, and i would say a person like shah jahan can never fall in love. Shah Jahan had a heart of stone..How could he cut those workers hands😡He was just obsessed with his wife..that it!! he didn't love her.

Well so you are saying he truly loved Mumtaaz , but he still had affairs with other women😲..you might call it love..but to me Shahn Jahan wasnt a good human being, and wasn't a true lover either..And The taj Mahal he built, which is supposed to be "Pyar ka Pratik" doesnt remind me of anything except for the pain those 10000 workers had to go through

u know what !!! ur kinda right...i just went on the net ...
n i Respect Sita ji more than Ram

y is it that the women has to always give proof of her being pure???
but i guess u also have to giving a 👏👏👏 to Ram too...for only leting Sita being his Queen of hearts...

"One day Rama turned to Vasistha Rsi and said, "Will you please perform a sacrifice?" Vasistha replied, "Then you must call your wife back." "Oh, I cannot do that." "Then you must remarry," he insisted. Rama said, "It is not possible." "Then you will have to make a golden deity of Sita devi." Vasistha then performed the sacrifice. In fact, every year he performed a very big sacrificial ceremony for Rama, near Naimisaranya on the bank of Gomati, with a new golden deity of Sita devi each year."
