Does any one likes movie Mughal e Azam? I know this is a very old movie but this is one of my most favourite movies. I love the story, dialogues, songs and costumes. I love the romance of Salim and Anarkali. No one matches Pritiviraj Kapoor as Akbar and Durga Khote as Jodha.

Please answer.

I liked it

Usually cannot stand period films from old BW, but this one is something else

According to Wikipedia it was a painstaking effort, went over budget took years to complete

Mughal e Azam is and will always be the grandest movie of bollywood plus real life lovers passion came alive on screen with DK and madhubala.I was surprised how much BM was 'inspired' by it.right from mohe panghat pe to the grand sets and madhubala made a prisoner wearing heavy iron chains.love the movie and the songs👍🏼last but not the least Prithviraj Kapoor looked so real as Akbar.

And they filmed that famous feather scene with her and Dilip Kumar after their break up and court battles, but you couldn't sense that onscreen... One of the most sensuous scenes ❤️

She was a thorough professional

Yes i read that too. Really heart breaking to read about her. A real beauty, her smile is enough to make any one fall in love with her.
Her expression in that song "Acha ji main hari" with Dev Anand are just wow.
Anyways sorry for going OT.

I saw one song from that film. That's it.

The actress is well liked and people consider her an icon in Bollywood I have noticed.
