DD question

I haven't been following the story regularly so would appreciate if someone could tell me why DD's hands are tied. Why cannot she call the cops on Bansi and Shabnam? Why is she so afraid of them? How did Shabnam get into cahoots with Bansi? Didn't she save Roshni from the burning car?

Shabnam saved Roshni so that she could enter Patel house once more, she joined hands with Bansi coz she wants Sid for herself and Kunal wants Roshni for himself. DD is afraid of them, coz they are dangerous people - they have already once kidnapped Siddharth - beaten him up many times and now they were successful in ill treating Roshni by drugging her up and making her lose memory. Right now DD nor Sid has any proof to show to the police that all this was done by Shabnam and Kunal so Sid doesn't want to involve cops as they won't hear them.
