Destiny plays a very important factor in our lives and it did similarly in Vrushika's life as well . She was suppose to audition for Dil Dostii Dance in early 2011 but couldn't because of her school exams. As destiny would have it , she later was roped in to play Sharon in 2013. At the age of just 18 and with no prior acting experience she stepped into the shoes of Sharon , the most complicated protagonist in D3. As we all believe Where there is a will, there is a way' and Vrushika with her honest efforts and with the guidance of the crew showed us the Sharon viewers loved to watch- the one with attitude, haughtiness yet the romantic and caring lover when she required to be. Vrushika not only impressed us with her acting but also with her beautiful dancing skills and her gorgeous on-screen chemistry and beautiful duets with Shantanu Maheshwari won the hearts of viewers too.

Post D3 we watched Vrushika Mehta explore more as an actor as she was cast in various episodic stories .She was a part of two ' Yeh hai Aashiqui' episodics . In one she played Rukhsaar' , a budding law student who fell in love with a colleague with a speech problem and in another the character of Twinkle , a hardworking sales girl who gets duped by her lover who turns out to be a shoplifter. In Pyaar Tune Kya Kia', we saw her as Sanaya , a passionate dancer whose life comes to a standstill after her leg gets amputated and her boyfriend dumps her thereafter. Vrushika portrayed Amrita' in Twist Wala Love' ,a brain tumour patient who meets her true love in the last few days of her life. And last but not the least she enacted Nabanita' a bride to be' possessed by a ghost in Fear Files'. It was truly a treat for us to watch her portray various characters with equal elan.

Vrushika Mehta was a part of dance based non-fiction show Bindaas Naach' for two episodes where we saw her supporting her friends Shantanu Maheshwari , Macedon, Nimit , Samentha and her mentor Palki Ma'am in their journey to the World Of Dance' stage , boosting their morale, dancing with them and being happy in her friends' happiness.

Satrangi Sasural on Zee TV marked Vrushika's foray into the world of GEC daily soaps. She began her journey as Kaira' last year in October, and was every bit as vivacious as her character needed to be, making us fall in love with her freshness and joyful energy all over again. There have been a lot of tears and hardships that Kaira had to go through too, and they have been brought out to full effect by Vrushika's emoting brilliance. From playing the carefree college diva Sharon to playing Kaira now, a young wife caught amidst the daily complexities of family life post marriage, is a complete 360 degree turn for Vrushika as an actor. In this show we have watched her share screen space with veteran actors like the legendary Farida Jalal. Vrushika and her co-star Ravish Desai's chemistry is cute as husband and wife too and we love Vrushika's on screen chemistry with the two little kids too!
