A: No I don't feel that.
But what I do for my family is something that I am
responsible of and that I must do it without any
conditions or expecting any things in return.

However, my family do appreciate what I do for them

I am a working wife and mother. First got a job then got married. Since the job was comparatively good, there was no compellsion of leaving it from my hubby's part.(Usually it is not a choice of the women if it is to be a house wife or working wife even in this era here in India. Even professinals were compelled to leave their job. More than three my collegues engineering professional wife sitting at home to look after children (worked before marriage.)My sister-in-law, who is a post graduates with post graduation in teaching,now a house - wife for the sake of her home.

. Noo dis advantages in the above examples, since they are financially well. If it is not there are disadvantages.
There is advantages also. They can look after their children with more care. Even if Iam bosting giving my children quality time,I cannot be there at some times when they need me. Hence I am takeing leave from the job. You can differenciate a kid who has mother at home.
But the child may be more dependent on mother(there are examples).
Children of working mothers are more self-relient.

3) Do you feel you are not appreiciated for all the things you do for your family. and you deserve lot more respect?
At times even a working wife feels so. Here in India usually women get less repect in home, evenif she is a working wife or house wife. If there is repect of disrespect I have to do my duties as a wife and mother.

Yes, I am Proud as a Woman.

My Answer: i'll start my married life as a working wife but when i have kids i would wanna be a house wife until i am sure that they will be fine on their own, and then i will go back to being a working wife again. i dont want babysitters for my kids!

My Answer: some are forced to be housewife and some choose to be housewife. being a housewife has more advantages.

My Answer: not married yet! My family has always been supportive!

I salute all the housewives who work so hard to keep their house perfect! Most importantly to all mothers who work so hard on their children and make them educated and responsible citizens of the world!! Heartiest thanks for all you do!

And yes, I agree with you, Raksha di, that being a housewife is the most respected job because you do so much for your family and home.

I am not even thinking about marriage yet so I don't know what I would want to be but I do appreciate all housewives for your hard work!!!
