Hello people.
I'm starting a new love story on manan.
As a gift from me to you for your immense love and support.
On this valentines.
This is also going to be a love story
With Lots of twists and turns.
And most importantly and angry Manik.
So enjoy the prologue and lemme know should I continue or not.
She was lost deep in her thoughts that she couldn't hear the beeps of her pager buzzing on the table in front of her.
After a few minutes she got startled by the loud beeps of intercom machine playing on the table. She came out of her trance.
"Dr.Murthy you are needed in the OT.. It's an emergency..."
"Yes I'm on my way..." She answered.
And got up from her chair grabbing her pager and her stethoscope she came out of her cabin and started walking fast to the OT.
It was her night duty today after a very busy and hectic day... But Dr. Aryaman needs to go for a personal emergency so he asked her a favor to take his shift.
She being the helping nature without thinking about her health or her well being said ok to him and stayed for the night duty.
In the elevator going down she met Dr. Abhimanyu. The ever chirpy and always in a good mood Dr Abhimanyu who try's to make her smile all the time.
"So baby doll what's upp... Any plans for valentines..." He asked in a cheerful mood.
"Asusual... I'll spend all day with my babies..." She answered casually.
"What... Really... You are doing night duty and than you'll spend the day with your babies... How will you manage... You'll ruin your health... You need rest..." He goes concerned by her helping nature attitude.
"But they need me... As much I need them... I can't just ignore them...you know..."
"But it's valentine you should spend most of your time with your loved ones..." He went into a dreamland..
"I think that... Sab pyaar Karne waale ek ho jaane chaiye... And they should live together always... I don't like sad love stories..." He was just blabbering in front of her.
She thought
'Not everyone can be together... Har koi itna khush kismet nahi hota...' To herself
"I pray ki sab pyaar Karne waale mil jaaye... And hamesha saath rahe..." He prayed unknowingly for all the lovers.
And the elevator door opens and somewhere in the corridors the clock strikes 12.
"What are the vitals..." As soon as Nandini entered the changing room she asked to the attending staff.
"Three bullet shots... Two still in the body... BP going down... Immense loss of blood... "The attending doctor gave her the brief.
They were in front of the OT washing their hands and putting on the gloves and their gowns on with the help of nurses.
She turned and saw someone entering the OT
"Dr. Kumar... You... Koi heart patient hai Kya..." Nandini asked the man who is in his 50's.
"I don't know... They called and informed me that... The bullet hit and passed the heart... Koi celebrity hai and a cardiologist is also needed..." Dr Kumar explained while changing into the gown.
Dr kumar is one such Doctor who works more for the money than for human lives.
But he is an excellent cardio surgeon.
"So guys ready to save one more life... Hopefully..." He asked both the Doctors.
"Yes..." They both said together but Nandini was always nervous when she entered the OT. She can't see any one fighting with life and death.
She is a very soft hearted person.
And today she has this odd feeling in her heart which is very difficult to describe in words...
All the doctors entered the OT and Nandini is the last one. There's a person lying on the operation bed with oxygen mask and IV given to him. ECG wires were stick to him around his chest and the wound has been cleared so thet the body part where the surgery has to be held can be seen clearly.
As soon as Nandini came by the patients right side she was frozen. It feels like The floor underneath her feet has been slipped away. The world came to a stand still.
She couldn't budge from her place and was just staring at the person lying in front of her.
"Dr. Murthy... Where are you lost... we need to start ASAP... Patient has already lost lots of blood..." Dr. Kumar said from the opposite side..
She was not with them at the moment. Her past flashed in front of her eyes like a count down show.
Eight years of her life just flickering in front of her,eyes.
"Dr. Khattar you take over... We need to take out the bullets... Otherwise it can spread poison... You start the surgery I'll keep the heart in stable position..." Dr kumar said again.
"Nandini are you ok..." Dr. Abhimanyu whispered going close to her and asked giving her a push.
She came out of her thoughts and looked at Abhimanyu.
"Haan..." She just said.
"We need to start... " Abhi told her again.
She stood there without blinking her eyes and watch Abhimanyu do all the work and act as a attending staff instead of a successful Doctor.
Abhimanyu took out the bullet close to the heart and another from the shoulder and the part where the bullet has just passed hitting the shoulder has been stitched.
Dr. Kumar makes sure that no damaged has been done to the heart as the bullet has just hit the outer layer of the heart. They packed up the body by giving appropriate stitches. And the surgery was successful.
"As the patient has lost lot of blood... We still need to keep him under observation for twenty four hours... And he should gain conscious in eight to ten hours... Otherwise he can slip into coma..." Dr kumar said when they came out of the OT.
Nandini didn't came out of the OT yet.
She was just watching him constantly with emptiness in her eyes. She just couldn't take her eyes off of him.
It's been eight years since she saw him. She never thought of meeting him like this.
He was lying there unconscious wrapped up in bandages all over his chest and his shoulders. As soon as the reality hits her a whisper came out from her mouth.
"Manik..." And tears started flowing like a spring water from her eyes.
She unknowingly bend down and gave a kiss on his head.
Some of Her tear drops fell on his forehead and cheek which didn't effect him at all because right now he can't feel anything.
He didn't know that he came to his destination which he was searching for since last eight years.
Sometimes a pray can be heard coming out from anybody's mouth. Intentionally or unintentionally Dr. Abhimanyu prayed for the lovers to meet and be together happily and that has been listened by some ultimate power and they make two long lost lovers meet in an odd and unexpected situation.
What would have happened that two lovers has been separated
How did Manik got shot

How come Nandini stayed away from Manik.
