Today's episode was good and the scenes were balanced... One thing I have noticed is the relationship between urmila and her sisters... With sita, urmila's relationship is ideal but with mandavi her relationship is original. I know both the words sound similar but they are not...

A sister is someone who will fight with you, laugh with u, cry with u,get scolded because of you but will never ever leave you... A sister is the best guide but before that she is your first best friend ... How I wish I was fortunate enough to have a sister, but I am not...

When I see sita with urmila I feel it's how we think a sister-relation is ,like you will follow your sister and so on but with mandavi and urmila I see two sisters we can find everywhere, just purely original,nok-jhok wala...and I love it... Actually both are beautiful in there own ways...

I know that this is just an addition made by the CVs(maybe its nt there in the original epic) but I still find it sweet... Maybe some forum friends will disagree with me but do give views on what u feel if possible...

I guess ur right dear
In few books they did mention that Urmila shared a very ideal relation with Sita .she is very relatable to present age girls very independent n fearless.she always understood Sita and stood for her always .
With Mandavi it was always like friendly sisters fighting pulling legs teasing.mandavi is a girl who gets manipulative ,ambitious kind .

I completely agree ...
Urmila follows Sita with whatever comes in her way ...In the same time she fights with Mandvi and not to forget she never fails to support them all.
I do agree, this may not be in the original epic.bt I am glad they included it here.

Great post Tuna 👏

Love,
Sruthi

@tuna Urmila is Sita's reflection or rather Sita herself and Mandavi is Sita's shadow, like Sita yet not like her.
Because reflection has to be the person or the illusion of person itself, but shadow is like the person, but shadow has an identity of its own different from the person.
Same with Bharat and Lakshman. Bharat is like Ram, but Lakshman yes he is like Ram, but yet not like him.

What they wanted to portray and what the actress are actually acting out is not matching.
In bits and pieces they are shown as ideal and reflections etc. But that is so little.
The 3 sisters cane across as immature ever since they were shown as adults.
Urmila characterisation improved.
Mandhvi is the worst. Unsure, insecure ,jumping to conclusions, opinionated.
The writers need to put in more with the sisters.
When I see royalty I want to see it full on royalty.
Just my pov.
No offence to the actors, they just follow the set director and the script.
