Chapter 1
Maheshwari Family were known as one of the most rich and famous Maheshwari Industry in the city, they are not only known for their name and fames but their tradition and values.
The story begins in Maheshwari Mansion, Where Durga Prasad is the owner of the properties and who has kept the family under complete strictness and discipline and no memeber in the family dares to go against his order
Anapoorna is his wife - She belonged to a Marwari Family
Ram Prasad is his one and only younger brother
Sujata is his sister-in-law - She also belonged to a Marwari family
Anapoorna and Durga Prasad had 2 sons - Aadarsh and Lakshy
Sujata and Ram had 1 son and 1 Daughter - Sanskar and Uttara
Durga Prasad never goes against his tradition and values and if anyone disobeys it ~ Punishment is given no matter they are his own family or any stranger. According to him, all the daughter-in-laws of the house should be from a Marwari Family as to keep respect to the cultural
It was a cold and breezy morning in Kolkata, everyone was busy in their own life, no one had time for anyone. In Maheshwari Mansion Anapoorna and Sujata were walking towards the hall and stoped as they came across the family photo in the corridor
Anapoorna gently feels the photo and cries
''kya galti kiya tha meine joh bhagwan ne mujhe apne dono bete chinliya'' Anapoorna said
''shant hogai ye didi.. agar app himat haarenge toh dusro ko kon sambal lega?'' Sujata consoles her
Then all of a sudden Uttara came running down the stairs. She started shouting ''maa..papa.. bari ma .. baare papa..Aadarsh bhaiya.. bhabhi"
'kya hua Uttara?' They ask her
'woh..upper..Laksh bhaiya.."
'kya hua Lakshy ko?' Anapoorna asked hurried upstairs
Upstairs in the room, was Lakshy lying on the bed, everyone had gathered around hoping for a miracle to happen. As he slowly started to move his fingers, a smile spreaded to everyone's face
'Laksh beta aanke kolo please..mere liye'Anapoorna says
Aadarsh enters the room ''ma meine doctor ko phone kardiya hai.. baas aray hoge" he says
Few minutes later, he opens his eyes and looks at everyone around.
'Laksh tum tik ho' Anapoorna hugs him while everyone else curiously wonders where DP had gone
At the same moment the doctor arrives and checks on Lakshy
''gabra neki koi baat nahi hai.. and congrats he is finally out of coma.. but remember no work no stress and complete rest for a week"
''I'll give you the prescriped medicine and remember to take it on time"
The doctor gives the list to AP
''Mein appko bahar tak chorde ta hu" Aadarsh says
There was a slience for a while but that didn't lastest for so long as Lakshy speaks "Maa..S-w-a-r-a" and tears dropped down his cheeks
All looked at him and remained slience
Scene changes to Bose House:
Swara who was still sleeping, wakes up from her bed
"Lucky" she screams
"Swara, kya hua?" Sharmishta asked
Swara gets up and looks around... "Swara? Kya hua bataao" she asks her again
Swara: Maa..Lucky...Mera Lakshy.. Mujhe aisa lage jise ussne mera pukara ho (She falls on the ground and cries)
Sharmishta: Swara...koi nahi he yaha, Ider deko (Swara looks at her) bul jao Laksh ko.. wo tumhara past hai.. adit hai woh tumhara
Swara: Kaise buljao mein ma? Mere wajaise laksh coma mein hai
Sharmishta: Nai swara
Swara: Yeh sab mere wajasee hua hai...na mein laksh se pyaar karti na yeh sab hota
Sharmishta: Kaa tum abhi bhi Lakshy se pyaar karti ho?
Swara: I love Lakshy mom ...
Sharmishta: Mujhe wadda karoo Swara
Swara: Kaisa wadaa?
Sharmishta: ke tum aaj ke baat kabhi bhi purane baato ke wajase nahi rogi
Swara: I promise I won't, mein apki strong beti hu ... Swara Bose Itni kamzoor nahi hai(They hug)
In Maheshwari Mansion:
Laksh takes some rest and rest of the family member goes down where they find DP
DP : I was waiting for you all ...
AP : App upper kyu nahi ayye?
DP : Mujhe app sab ko ek zaaruri baat karna hai.. Lakshya ke liye ek Bohot acche Marwari parivaar se rishta aaya hai ... And I think she would be perfect for this family...
RP: lekin bhaisab.. Abhi toh laksh coma se bahar aaya hai aur yeh sab itni jaldi
DP: Sirf rishta aaya hai abhi.. I'm not asking him to marry right now
Sujata: Aurr woh larki hai kon?
DP: Ragini Gadodia ... you must have heard her name .. They are coming tomorrow for proposal and confirmation ..
