Meera Deosthale to play Chakor

It seems that the hunt for the new Chakor is finally over for team Udann (Guroudev Bhalla & Dhaval Gada) and Colors.

The makers were in a desperate search for an actor who could play the role of the fierce young girl ready to break the shackles of all societal obligations. The entire fiasco regarding Vidhi Pandya juggling between the role of Imli and Chakor was finally drawn to an end with her opting to play Imli (as reported by us last night).

Sasural Simar Ka and Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls fame Meera Deosthale, will be the one stepping into the shoes of Chakor's character.

Our source reveals, "After few changes in the casting and discussions with the channel, the pretty actress Meera has been locked for Chakor's role finally. She will be paired opposite Vijayendra Kumeria".

When we called Meera, the actress confirmed the same but asked us to call later.
