Hi all..
I'm enjoying all the k-dramas you guys suggested me earlier and now in my recent topic. and i'm regretting why i took so long to start watching them..

i know this is an asian tv shows forum.. but i think most of you are k-dramas fans here..
I was just wondering how many of you actually understand the language or are like me only.. living on english subs..

because I was crawling through this forum and noticed that you guys also listen to kpop songs.. which is distracting to watch and understand with English lyrics translation.. at least i found it difficult and it's taking me double time to first check the lyrics and then listen to actual song.. 😭

I started watching K-dramas back in 2007 & at that time, I didn't understand the language. But now after so many years of watching & also because I have quite a number of close Korean friends, I don't really need subs anymore.

Korean is actually pretty easy to learn. I'm sure after watching quite a number of dramas, you will pick up the language.

I started watch kdramas in 2007, now I can understand most korean and can watch dramas without subs. I naturally picked up korean while watching lots of drama's and variety shows, I remember once watching something on youtube and it wasn't till I was half way through it did I realise it had no subs 😆
