I dont know why Shaan says it so often. Its ok to to call a human being "like" God, but call him/her "swayam" God, is way too much, no matter how good they are in their own art, humans err in life. They definitely are not "Swayam" God(ess).

Please VOI if you are reading this, donot say that.

I think they overdo it... Ok, everyone knows she is respected and maybe the ultimate when it comes to singing, but I agree Shaan overdoes it...

I agree..... he could have said "kinki wavi mein saraswati maa ka niwaas hain" rather than "Saraswati maa herself"

Yes, I agree... He used to be better in earlier srgmp shows... This series he hasnt looked the same... His dialogues have become stale and repetitive - and overdone...

Do you think that Shaan is maybe as fed up as we are?

I always find such descriptions over-the-top, but figure that is my temperament. But given that the production team generally favours a great deal of drama, I just tune out when they start.

On the same note, I also find the farewell sequences closer to a funeral oration than the end of a competition run. The producers show a streak of profound pessimism as well as tremendous delusions of grandeur. (This is a reaction to watching the video of the Nov. 2 show online.)
