Chapter 2: AR Designs

The assembly held all of a sudden was to announce the summer vacation for two whole months along with a long list of instructions which mostly consisted about holiday home works and lots of advices on how effectively students should utilize their time during summer doing something useful and not to simply dawdle their time. Well, that definitely fell deaf to almost all of their ears as soon as they heard two month of nirvana about their vacation and were on full swing to make plans and enjoy being on a fully fledged holiday tour.

Our protagonists were very enthusiastic and decided to spend their vacation outright in learning new languages and exploring their talents. Khushi and Arnav both new about each other's goals as they were that close and yet so far. They both shared the same dreams and had the same goals. There was not a thing they didn't know about the other. Both from their family or siblings or friends they always got to know such things and that was no new thing for them.

Likewise, their enmity just grew along the years. They were like doppelgangers from different families. They were soul-mates. Their story started when they were born. Born on the same day with a wee hours of gap between the two, the elder being Arnav. This brought immense happiness to both their families, the Raizadas and the Guptas.

Anil Raizada and Ratan Gupta had merged starting a multi-billionaire company on fashion designing called AR Designs which had massive infrastructure with opulent artwork and was the leading business fashion industry in India. It brought a new wide range of fashionable outfits all over the world attracting all the fashionistas driving preternatural fame in a short period of time. Their friendship and trust was the root for AR therefore becoming the sole partners of multinational industry they truly maintained connected at all hard times. Their assurance and entrustment invested on each other slowly turned to a bond higher than concord affinity rising to a new fond family for them when they both got married to their loved ones.

Aarti Raizada soon gave birth to the most arrant, notorious, mischievous twins, Anjali and Akash. They became the apple of eyes to both the families. Roshni Gupta, on that very particular year, gave birth to an amatory Arthurian looking boy, Shyam. The three children were like masonry for them. Their lives got merrier when both their wives got pregnant at the same month after two years. They had laughed to themselves hysterically when they shared the good news then.

They said it was a shrine for the two families since they were both orphans and had no dearly love given to them while they were young. The progenies were resplendent respite to their lives.

In the month of December, they were supposed to expect the baby just after Christmas and finally on the last day of the year, the almighty who no longer wanted to delay his hotshot, gifted the artwork of his ingenious prodigy to Aarti and Roshni.

They were wholly astonished and elated in seeing the lustrous babies that they couldn't stop extolling them with their praises. Their cry was a musical competition.

Roshni Gupta couldn't be less happy as she received her world's closest possession of a girl child shining ever so brightly in front of her eyes that she instantly named her Khushi.

Aarti very much expected a boy and true to her wishes she possessed a boy archangel. She knew he would grow up to be like magnate Poseidon, the god of seas and ocean, and hence named him Arnav.

The love for both Arnav and Khushi was downright outreach as they have never witnessed such a witchcraft virtuoso of the little beads. Now little did they know that they would grow up hating each other causing hindrance to their created love-track.

Along the years, watching their children grow, Anil and Ratan were so fond of the kids that they hoped to live together under one roof as one big joint family dedicating their lives to their wife and children and plans were made to construct one huge luxurious bungalow structured with intricate interior designs. The house would be called Shantivan, the heavens residence. However, the children were very much unaware of this and they didn't have an inch of an idea what was in store for them.
