~ Hello, my name is Misti. I am huge fan of Sanskar and Swara. I have started watching this show after Sanskar's entry. Its awesome, watching the journey of Sanskar and Swara together from strangers to friends, friends to man and wife, and finally lovers. Lately, idea has been popping inside my mind and I couldn't stop myself penning it down. I wanted to share with my friends, in Swaragini section and true lovers of Swasan. Our beloved Sanskar and Swara. ~

Introduction of Sanam Teri Kasam

Moonlight shone in the darkness of stormy night. Two figure getting drench in the rain, facing opposite direction. Cries of their aching heart told their condition clearly. Its beyond to imagine them living separately. They always have been together and now destiny is stripping them apart in name of balidaanon (sacrifices). "Main hamesha tumhari rahoongi, Sanskar. Always remember that. I live within you and you live within me. Today our path may have been separated, but only you have rights on me and my soul. Sanam teri kasam that I'll always remind yours even after death. Its a promise, Hamesha rahoongi tumhari, Swara."

Characters of Sanam Teri Kasam

Sanskar Maheshwari

Sanskar hails from Marwari family. His idealistic of life, completely different from his family and left home many years ago. His hatred for his Bade Papa, always kept him determine in life and it will always remain much as he love his Mom (Sujata).

Swara Bose

Swara hails from Bengali family, but her roots are connected to Marwari. She never knew her father growing up or his name. She only had her mother (Sharmishtha) and her Dida (Shobha). Beauty define her outrageously beautiful. Her modern morality known its tradition aspect of her limitation. Swara speaks from her heart and understand the value of a family. Believe family is most important aspect of life.

Ragini Gadodia

Ragini hails from Marwari family. (Her character similar as the show,Swaragini. I am posting the sketch of her from India-Forum written in the cast section.) She is Shekhar's daughter. A very shy girl, quiet with preserved nature but filled with values and is the most caring character. She is much opposite to Swara in many things. She is very obedient towards her Dadi ma and respects her a lot but when it comes to choosing right, she do stand with the right without opposing her Dadi ma.

Lakshya Maheshwari

Laksh hails from Marwari family. (His character similar as the show, Swaragini. Therefore, I am posting describe of his character from India-Forum in section of cast.) Only son of Drugaprasad and Annapurna. He completely defines a rich spoilt brat. Born in a family with rules and regulations on everything filled up to neck, he lives two personalities. Following his family's rules being Lakshya and outside living as himself in the name of lucky. His hatred for his house environment and strictly against it and think of his father as dictator. Somewhere, in spoiled nature, he falls in love with Swara, but Swara's hatred for him transform him into responsible person.

{Mostly remaindering characters are same as the show. Swaragini. There are some changes and that would unfold during the progress of the story.}
