Hello

So what's your take on the first episode of Tamanna?

I would simply say that story is about a girl playing cricket as its her passion but how her personal life becomes hurdle in the way of her dreams is dramatically depicted.

Happy to see a great actress Ketki Dave in a positive role.

Lead actress is doing decent job, is she a new actor?

however not sure if the actor is male lead or not? The one who visited to see Dhara.

Anyway, hope this show keeps unnecessary drama away, as it started with typical drama. It was typical to show how dhara manages to escape to play cricket when a boy came to see her. Some moments were hilarious. They did not show boy's reaction upon learning Dhara's talent.

Last scene, why they embarrassed dhara like that?

Anyway, let's see how it goes.

Ketki Dave acted in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Marriage is a gamble. Dhara can pursue her career if her husband is supportive like Sooraj in Biya Baati Aur Hum.

The FL's character is nice; she is passionate towards the sport. It's also nice to see the father being supportive.

But I felt that the father should have been truthful to the groom and his family that her daughter is a cricket player rather than asking the daughter to secretly go for the match. But it was good that the girl atleast was truthful about her interest in cricket and even in things like she didn't make the snack or that she isn't very fond of cooking.

About the footwear scene... since Dhara wasn't able to completely focus on her match and there were too many things going on with her prior to it, it makes sense that she made a blunder. I guess it is to show that it doesn't go smoothly for her at the selection, maybe.

The show Tamanna have a different concept.

It is story of woman who wanted to become a cricket player.

It is really a different ambition from other girls.

Dhara is a girl who wanted to fulfill her dreams.

Tamanna looks like a realistic show with good n decent cast. I like the cast very much. Characters of Baa n dharaa's father have many layers of emotions. They can be hilarious, emotional and strict but with affection so the family looks quite realistic. Concept is quite interesting so I have started watching this show. Dharaa's father is very supportive which makes this show very positive. I learnt somewhere that since this show is a finite series, so I don't expect it to turn into saas bahu drama. Am definitely going to watch it as the story line looks fresh n promising.

Even I will watch this show. Eventually, even this show will be like saas-bahu type. Even in DBAH, Sandhya wanted to become an IPS officer but she fulfilled her dream after marriage.

The lead actress Anuja Sathe is a Marathi Actress.Has done shows in Marathi.If you watched BM she played one of the sisters of
Bajai Rao.

I liked the show.Looking forward to see how Dhara acheive her dreams.The show is produced by Abhinay Deo who directed 24.So I have slight hope it will be not like DABH.It will be different n realistic from it.Also this show is finite series.

First 2 epi look fine ... First episode reminded me of my fav show ...

Let's see how the show will shape up ...

Vishal Gandhi played lead in SP show ek Dusre se karte hai pyar hum ... So I m guessing he is the male lead of show .. Nimisha is playing his mom role .. So looks like thy will b dharaa's future family ...

If it's a finite series like one of members stated .. I will b even more glad to watch a show which ends after few episodes than watch Saas bahu drama ...
