Rakhi and Abhishek's choreographer, Pratap Shetty, won the choreographer of the Week Award this week. This week there was a tie between Pratap and Nitin – Krushna and Kashmeera's choreographer.
"It does obviously feel good but I think having full marks would have helped some more!" says the tough task master. This is the second time that Pratap has won the award and he is understandably ecstatic.
"We are one big family. It's not a case of an artist and his or her choreographer. We are good friends. She never behaves like a big time artist… she always treats me like her close friend… they sit with us and eat khana," says Shetty, "We go to her house and watch nach baliye all the time. It's a ritual… she says if you don't come then we won't watch it!"
"Also Rakhi and Abhishek leave everything to me. From the track to dance steps to costume to concept to everything… and then what ever I tell her she readily tries it. I think both of them have immense will power. We teach everything to them so technically…every step is taught technically so once they know how it works technically then dancing it doesn't seem that difficult," adds Pratap.
Having won the award twice, we asked Pratap what is his secret formula for success?
"We are trying our level best. Hard work…there is nothing in life other than nach baliye right now. We go into practice early in the morning and then when we get out its pitch dark. We have stopped going out or meeting people. So I would say its basically hard work and nothing else!"

Choreographer of the Week: Nitin
Kashmeera and Krushna Abhishek's choreographer, Nitin, won the award for Choreographer of the Week second week running. There was a tie this week and Nitin shared the award with Pratap – Rakhi and Abhsishek's choreographer.
Nitin has been in the competition for only a fortnight as he replaced Kashmeera and Krushna's previous choreographers – Raju and Shabana. And right from his first act Nitin has impressed the judges. He has completed changed the jodi's dancing style.
"I am very happy. It feels great to win the award. But I can't take the credit alone. I think more than half the credit should go to Kashmeera and Krushna who put in so much effort. They work so hard with me," Nitin says.
The choreographer adds that he hopes he can continue to do well as the competition progresses. "We are on the top of the world with the comments and marks. We will now practice a lot more to ensure that we continue to impress everyone so people think that we deserve to remain in the competition!"
