Kanak's character has turned evil because she has been used by her father in law and I believe his continuous torture has turned her into this vindictive person. Both TT and Kanak, have been victims of DT, Even Daadi is one, though she has kept away from DT as far as possible, whilst both TT and Kanak have learnt everything from DT.

The drinking today was over the top, but then when ever someone has to fall in a hole, they usually change for the worst.

The actress who plays Kanak though, hats off to her, she is mind blowing...

I too have not seen today's show yet.

But Kanak and her turning more evil was expected. She is well trained by DT for many years and now that she feels that D T is not in cahoots with her in all evil plans as before she is going after D T with everything she has got.

The sad part is that it is too late for her to back out after her attempt at trying to kill DT but ended up loosing her husband and becoming a widow. A state she abhors above all else.

Her becoming a widow and losing control over Trip and DT finding the CD has made Kanak

desperate to gain back her status of the daughter -in -law of the Tripathy family that had power

in that household.

But I agree the actress has held her own in portraying the role of a desperate and power hungry woman that is willing to kill not to lose her number one position in that house.
