Sreesanth enjoyed his game of cricket the other day in Mumbai. This time though he wasn't playing, but cheering for TV stars who played a T20 match.
The match had all ingredients for a perfect entertainer. It began with Sreesanth bowling an over to set the game rolling.
The team led by Manav Gohil was all out for 87 runs. Their team member Aditya Narayan had an unfortunate run-out. Aditya later complained that his run-out was the turning point of the game.
Performances by Mika, Shaan, Abhijeet and Soham enthralled the audiences. Cheer leaders Aparna Tilak, Priyanka Bassi, Shama Sikander, Rupali Ganguly, Barkha Bisht and Narayani Shastri were also in their element. Commentary by funny man Suresh Menon and his partner Vrajesh Hirjee had the crowds in splits. Expert comments were from Sreesanth himself.
The match was organised for a movement against female foeticide, that Sreesanth is supporting. The team led by Varun Badola won the match. Shashi Ranjan took crucial wickets helping his team win.
The match had its share of injuries too. Manojje Biddvai, Sharad Kelkar, Gaurav Chopraa, Varun and Shashi were all injured. After the match, the actors-turned-cricketers had lots to chat about.
That's when a quick party was organised and the entire gang had a blast partying till late night.
