Now this is a true Hollywood debut, you know what I mean - with a worthy role and credible filmmaker. 😉 But of course, it won't get enough PR footage.Satrapi's Persepolis was really an amazing film. Animated but so poignant.

His first film was Thulluvadho Ilamai, not Kadhal Konden (or wait, don tell me you liked him in Thulluvadho Ilamai😳) 😆 The first one really made me cringe 😆 Oh that manmada rasa film was ridiculous..Dhanush used to ham like nobody's business at one point in all these loud cool dude type roles 😆P.S. Wait, lemme PM you 😆@Maul-E-Wood- Nope..Its the one with Tamannah..Padikkadhavan if am not wrong 😆
Oh! I thought kadhal konden was his first film.😆 That must be the first film of Dhanush which I watched. 😆@Bold : I thought he was bad in Maari too. 😕 I watched it before VIP and came to a conclusion that Dhanush can't do full on massy films. The folding tongue bits made me cringe big time. But of course, VIP proved me wrong. He was amazing usme. 😳

Maari was unbearable..What were they thinking while shooting that trash? I couldn't even finish that film 😆 VIP was fabulous man..There is this bit in the second half where Dhanush has this 2 minute monologue where he talks about his struggle from childhood and he says that with so much style and swag..Seeti maar moment 😆
OMG! YES! I absolutely love that dialogue. I love everything about that scene, the way he calls the villian Amul Baby..🤣 and the way he lights his cigar..that style totally reminded me of Rajnikanth. 😎 Unfair to compare, but what to do..he is the benchmark for such scenes.
