I don't understand all of this Maya hate on the forum.
Can't a guy have a close female friend? Besides Maya hasn't really done anything suspicious yet. She's a damsel in distress, and all men have a hero complex. Kunj is just helping her out. Maya has been nothing, but respectful towards Twinkle. She's not outwardly, or inappropriately affectionate towards Kunj either.
Why can't we give her the benefit of doubt? She could possibly be a catalyst in moving Kunj and Twinkle's relationship forward. Let's be positive!
What irritates me more is Twinkle's insecurity, especially now after the farmhouse misunderstanding has been cleared. She says she trusts her husband, but does she really?
If she did, she wouldn't worry about Kunj being friendly with Maya. She wouldn't panic about the divorce papers either.
This whole scenario just proves to me that Twinkle is still extremely immature, and needs lessons in trust. There's no point in trying to impress your husband, or coddle him into submission - there needs to be trust in the relationship.
This was the reason that Kunj was so hurt. Twinkle has spent so much time with him, and yet she still doubts his character. Even if is she is worried about Maya making a move, she should have confidence that her husband won't return the feeling.
I am afraid that it's not Maya that's leading them down a dark path - it's Twinkle and her insecurity that is driving a wedge between her and Kunj.
