Katrina came into Salman's life when he was going through low phase. She was still dating Salman when his luck turned with the movie Wanted. She left after a year when Salman was doing good at box office. If it was for money she could have stayed with him. But she broke off. No, I don't think she left Ranbir because his movies was flopping. It could be his egoistic nature which she mentioned in her interview or the professional stress Ranbir is going through. There were so many article mentioning about their differences, arguments and showdowns. Who knows what was the reason, we can just speculate.

what kind of love would that be if you can be together only when you are successful and happy!! .. If you want to end up spending a lifetime with each other then you better be prepared to face the shit together too. Life may not always be a bed of roses. For these super rich people, ya maybe their lives are going to be much better than everyone else's but you never know, there can be trying times sometimes. If two people cannot stick together and be there for each other during bad times, then they better just breakup and move on and find the right people to be with.

It is pretty crazy to think they broke up considering they have been dating a while

my theory is that they both fell in love with each other when they both were successful and doing well for themselves ! the relationship lasted for so long, cause both were happy to keep it under the wraps and both were doing well in their careers ! and I feel ranbir is the kind of person who will only treat his gf and family attachment/love when is successful/popular himself!

however when katrina started going through a rough phase she expected more from Ranbir, she wanted the world to know that they were in a relationship hence the bikini pics were released ( who knows if that was her way to stay in the news ! ) things got worse when rk worked with deepika, no sight of kat once again ! and kat disappeared for a while !!!

ranbir films started becoming unsuccessful resulting him in becoming unhappier probably unstable and started blaming kat ! kat blamed him for not being as loving as ranveer and for his family not accepting him !

they were both a bubble waiting to burst !

but i still think if they both start doing well again there may be a small chance that they will be with each other again
