8 part sajan spcl ss in honour of monaya marriage

Part 1

Five years
have passed by since they left Excel. Mayank and Nupur are parents of twins
Mayur and Mayuri. Their relationship with Bui and Bauji got gradually mended,
and the elders also took time to accept Gunjan and Samrat's relationship.
Samrat had proposed to Gunjan five years ago, and since then they are engaged. Due
to Gunjan's insistence, Samrat slowly mended his relationship with his own
family. Benji and Dia just got married, and are expecting their first child.
Uday is still single. The gang is always busy in their professions but tries to
meet for a get together every fortnight.

Gunjan and
Samrat's sudden fight one day led to a misunderstanding. For a couple of weeks,
the couple is not on talking terms. At first their gang took it as a couple's
typical fight and ignored their silence. But one day Nupur and Dia decide to
look into their sister's problem, and Mayank and Benji decide to tag along for
Samrat's sake.

Meeting at a
caf, the boys and the girls sat with Samrat and Gunjan, respectively and
separately. The two did not have any inkling of the other's presence.

(Girls
table)

Nupur- Toh
Gunjan hua kya tum dono ki beech?

Gunjan- Kuch
nahi di.. bas yuhi ek chhoti si argument..

Dia- Chhoti?
You have stretched it so much that you are not taking for two weeks!

Gunjan- Dia.
Really it is okay. Hum dono abhi bhi ek doosre se pyaar karte hain.

(Boys table)

Mayank- Accha?
Agar tum dono ke beech abhi bhi pyaar hain, toh abhi bhi baat toh kar sakte ho!
Solution nikaalo!

Samrat- Itni
asaan nahi hai, Mayank. Chashmish ko lagta hai ki main shaadi nahi karna
chaahta hoon! But I will marry her! But..

Benji- But
kya dude? Gunjan aisa kya kiya ki tum dono ki jhagda hua?

(Girls
table)

Gunjan- I
want to marry first and then move in. Par Samrat chaahte hai ki main uske saath
shift karun.

Nupur- Oh.
Yeh baat? Gunjan, ab hum sab apne ke liye zimedaar ban gaye. Har relationship
mein adjustment zaroori hota hai.

Dia- Exactly
Gunjan. Maybe Sammy wants to take it slowly.

Gunjan- Toh
shaadi kyon nahi karte? Main intezaar karungi, but shaadi ki pehle yeh sab? Itni
jaldi?

(Boys table)

Samrat-
Dude, Gunjan ko lagti hai ki main shaadi nahi karna hai balki sirf live-in
karna hai. Baat aiyse nahi hai. Mujhe shaadi ki darr hain aur main bas dekhna chaahta
hu shaadishuda life kaise hai, bas. Par Chashmish ko lagta hai ki...

Mayank-
Dude. Chashmish ek puraani khaayal ki ladki hai. You should have been careful,
woh baaki ladkiyon ki tarah modern nahi hai.

Samrat- Lo
tumhara lecture shuru ho gaya hai. Bilkul Chashmish ki tarah. Arre main bas toh
suggest kiya aur mere explanation na sunkar, Chashmish ko lagi ki main bahut hi
jaldi main hoon...

(Girls
table)

Dia- Baby,
tum shaadi karne ki jaldi main ho?

Gunjan- Nahi
mere koi jaldi nahi hai. Bui aur Bauji bhi taiyaar hai wait karne ke liye. Jis din
Samrat ready hoga uss din hum shaadi karenge. Usne shaadi ki proposal ki aur
mujhe pata hai Samrat will marry me one day.

Nupur-
Gunjan. Mujhe nahi lagta hai Samrat ka iraada gandi hai. Hum Morena se aaye aur
ab badalchuke hain. Humme bhi dusre ki point of view dekhna hai.

Gunjan- Di? Yeh
tum kehre ho?

Dia- Babes.
Nupur tumse zyaada badal gayi hai. But no one is forcing you. Just ek baar
Samrat ka point of view suno toh!

Gunjan- Agar
aise hoga, kya yeh sahi decision hoga? Bui aur Bauji ko kya jawaab doon? Nahi..
Mujhse yeh sab nahi hoga. (She then grew quiet and then looked at her sisters thoughtfully)
Samrat ko lagta hai ki mujhe shaadi karne ki jaldi hai...?

Nupur-
Shayad.

(Boys table)

Samrat-
Guys. I really love her. I have all the intentions of marrying her! I love her.
She is my last girlfriend and... (He got agitated) Guys. Mujhe bas shaadi ki darr
hai.

Mayank- Dude
hum samjhte hai. But Gunjan ko bas thodi alag se handle karo.

Benji- Ab
humme Gunjan aur tumhe ek dusre ki viewpoint batana padega. Shaadi ke baad bhi
aisa chalega?

(Samrat
gives him a stern look and Mayank grinned)

Benji- Nahi
dude sach main. Why can't you both solve your own problems? Kuch baat nahi se
chhoti baat bhi behtar hai!

(Mayank
agreed and Samrat sighed out thoughtfully, his palms around his coffee cup.)

(Girls
table)

Gunjan- (Thoughtfully
sipping her coffee) Theek hai. Ek baar phir, main koshish karti hoon, baat
karne ki.

Dia- Asal
mein your fight is nothing, just a silly misunderstanding.

Nupur- Dia.
Yeh kaise baat hui? Gunjan ki haq hai apni viewpoint rakhne ki!

Dia- Babes,
Sammy ka haq bhi hai!

(The two
started arguing and Gunjan stopped them)

Gunjan-
Bas.. bas... Di.. Dia.. Kya kar rahe ho! Accha main baat karungi! (Getting up)
Accha main counter pe jaa rahi hoon, kuch snacks order karun?

(Nupur and
Dia gave their choices and Gunjan strolled thoughtfully to the counter. No one
noticed a man getting up from a nearby table and follow her.)

(Boys table)

Samrat got
up, excusing himself and made his way to the toilet. After relieving himself,
he came out and almost bumped into a girl coming out of the girls restroom. He
stopped and turned to apologise and stopped again, staring at the girl, who was equally
surprised to see him.

Part 2

Gunjan stood at the counter, lost in her thoughts, when the man spoke up- Gunjan?'

Startled, Gunjan looked up and was surprised- Niel? Tum yaha?'

Niel- Haan main... Kaise ho?

Gunjan (Feeling slightly flustered)- Theek hoon.. Aur tum?

Niel- Same...

Gunjan looked at him and he stared at her.

Gunjan- Same?

Niel- Haan.. Abhi bhi..

Gunjan looked away, unsure and unsettled

Niel- Yeh main kya sun raha hoon? Samrat tumhe force kar rahe hai aur shaadi bhi nahi karega?

Gunjan (Shocked and then reacting fast)- Tum humaare baat sun rahe the?

Niel- Haan maine sab sun liya... Gunjan yeh ladka tumhari laayek nahi hai.. Tum dono alag ho and he will not treat you well (Suddenly he took her hand, clasping her palm with his hands) Gunjan, agar you are not happy with him, tum kyon usse shaadi kar rahe ho?

Gunjan (Trying to pull her hand away)- Niel. Cchodo mere haath...

Niel- Gunjan (He put her hand on his chest) Mere dil tumhaare liye abhi bhi dhadhakte hai. I do, will and always loved you.

Gunjan (Pulling her hand away at last)- Shut up Niel. Samrat aur main mangekar hoon. Please don't come between us like this.

Niel- Relax Gunjan. I am just telling you ki main humesha tumhaare liye aas pass hoon. Agar koi problem mein ho toh seedha mere pass aa jao.

Gunjan- Niel. Thanks but main khush hoon apni duniya mein. Mujhe kissi se madad zaroori nahi hai.

Niel- Toh yeh sab? Samrat ne tumhe aise haalat mein..

Gunjan- Haalat? Kaise haalat? Mind your own business.

The counterperson interrupted, asking for her orders. With a stern look at Niel, Gunjan gave her orders and then turned away.

Niel- Gunjan.. mere baat toh suno!

Gunjan ignored him and carried on walking away.

Niel stared after her, longingly.

By then both Gunjan's sisters saw Niel from the distance. They looked at each other.

Meanwhile, by in front of the restrooms, Samrat and the girl looked at each other, amazed.

Samrat- Sheena..?

Sheena- Samrat.. Tum jail se kab nikla?

Samrat glared at her.

Sheena- Oh.. Sorry.. Main toh bhul gayi. Tumhara dost ne RV ko jail bheja. Kaash tum RV ki jagah pe hota!

Samrat (Smugly, his hands in his jeans pockets)- Ha Ha. Very funny. (Sternly) Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho? Chashmish ki khilaafh ek aur swimming pool ki planning?

Sheena (Rendered speechless for a second)- Ho. How boring. Tum abhi bhi uss chashme wala ke saath chipakte ho? How surprising. Koi better girlfriend nahi mili kya?

Samrat (With a snort)- Hmph. You know very well ki Chashmish tum jaise ladkiyan se kahi zyaada better hai, khoobsurat hai, dil mein saafh hai aur... (He suddenly realized something) Arre. Main toh tumhe thanks kabhi nahi diya!

Sheena (Perplexed)- Thanks? Kis baat ki?

Samrat (Smilingly)- Thanks for that visit to the jail to see me. Thanks for the pool planning. Tum nahi hote toh aaj Chashmish mere girlfriend, oops sorry, mangekar nahi hote.

Sheena smiled- Toh woh toh tumhe Niel ko dena padega. Thank god Niel ki verjade tumhe aisa saaza mil gaye.

Samrat looked shocked- Niel? Niel Oberoi? Haan woh toh hai, lekin tumhe kaise...?

Sheena (Showing her ring finger)- Main Mrs Malhotra-Oberoi hoon.

Samrat was startled and then started laughing, relieved- Oh wow! How sad for him. Tum jaise ladki shaadi ke liye mili! I feel sorry for him.

Sheena looked furious, realizing that Samrat was unfazed.

Samrat- Niel bhi Chashmish ko pyar karte hain.. (He stopped and realized what he said)

Sheena- Kya hua? Bolti bandh? (She laughed) Haan mujhe sab kuch pata hai... (Exasperatedly) Uss Chashmish mein aisa kya hai, Samrat, ki sab usko pyar karte hai!

Samrat smiled- Yeh toh tumhi soch lo. Main actually khush hoon ki Chashmish sirf mere pass hai aur kissi ke pass nahi.

Sheena glared, turned away and stormed off.

Samrat, lost in thoughts, made his way to his friends. Mayank and Benji looked at his face and Samrat told them. They looked startled.

Mayank- Nupur ki phone aaya tha, Samrat. Niel bhi yaha hain.

Samrat looked at him- Nupur bhi yaha pe hain?

Mayank and Benji looked at each other.

Gunjan was sitting at the table, trying to settle herself down. Her sisters looked at Niel, who was still at the counter, staring at Gunjan.

Nupur- Gunjan relax.

Gunjan- Di. Tum logone mujhe pehle kyon nahi bataaye ki Samrat bhi yaha pe hain? Niel ko dekhhar kya hoga... Di hum chalte hain yaha se!

As Gunjan got up fast, Nupur and Dia also got up to stop her. Just then the boys came up, from the different section of the caf. Samrat and Gunjan looked at each other, then away. Mayank glanced questioningly at Nupur, who gestured with her eyes. Noticing that, Mayank, Samrat and Benji looked in Niel's direction. Samrat, with uneasiness, looked at Niel still staring at his fianc. Niel, realizing that Samrat was looking at him, looked away.

Just then Sheena, who also noticed her husband's gaze, came up to the gang. Gunjan and her sisters were startled to see her.

Sheena- Hi you all? Why are you all standing like statues? (Turning to Gunjan) Hello. Kaise ho tum, boring girl?

Gunjan suddenly felt uneasy, looking at Samrat, who looked back at her meaningfully. Memory of Sheena's dialogue came back rushing to her-If Samrat could not be Sheena's, then Sheena would make sure he would not be anyone's. Gunjan felt restless as she looked at Sheena again.

Sheena (Smiling smugly) Kya hua Gunjan? Bolti bandh? Nahi, main waapus nahi aayi tumhe tang karne ke liye... Lekin jee karte hain tumhe... (She stopped threateningly)

Nupur (Snapping)- Oh. Shee-ee-eena. Tumhari yeh dhamki hum par koi asar nahi karega.

Dia- Sheena. How dare you come here? Did you plan another pool party?

Nupur, Samrat, Benji sniggered.

Mayank- Haan, shayad. Par iss baar koi pool boy nahi hoga tumhaari kaam karne ke liye.

Dia sniggered and Gunjan smiled lightly and looked at Sheena.

Gunjan- Main toh bhool gayi. Tum Samrat ko poori tarah se kho chuki ho.

Sheena (Angry)- Itni asaan nahi hai, Chashme baddoor, mujhe bhagaane ki kaam itni asaan nahi hai.

Gunjan suddenly felt worried, remembering Samrat's getting jailed. Everyone looked at Sheena with exasperation.

Sheena- Main kuch bhi kar sakti hoon, tumse badla lene ke liye.

Niel (Suddenly everyone realizing he was at the table)- Bandh bhi karo.

Sheena looked at Niel, furious.

Gunjan seeing Niel got panicked. She looked at Samrat, alarmed, but Samrat was cool. He just looked at Niel, not surprised.

Niel- Gunjan ko ek aur dhamki do toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga.

Gunjan looked away, her eyes closed. Sheena was totally furious. Nupur, Dia, Benji and Mayank stared at Niel's audacity.

Samrat- Hi Niel. (He was so composed that everyone got surprised)

Niel- Samrat (Niel came forward to him, standing in between him and Gunjan) Yeh main kya sun raha hoon? Tum Gunjan ko iss tarase force kar rahe ho aur phir shaadi se bhaag rahe ho!

Samrat looked shocked and looked at Gunjan. Gunjan looked at Niel, angrily. Mayank and Benji looked at their respective wives, who looked on, enraged.

Gunjan (Suddenly coming between Niel and Samrat, turned to Niel)- Shut the hell up Mr Oberoi! Tumhaare himmat kaise hui humaare maamle mein interfere karne ki! Pehle toh tum meri aur meri behenei par evesdrop ki, aur uske baad Samrat ko mere khilaafh badkaar rahe ho! (Niel was about to interrupt, but Gunjan fiercely pointed her finger at him) No, You listen to me. How dare you talk like that to Samrat! You are no body to interfere in my life!

Samrat thought to himself- Oh, toh yeh baat thi. Chashmish humaare fight ke baare mein kuch nahi kaha. Ab mein isse dekhta hoon.

He stopped Gunjan, by putting his hand firmly on her shoulder. Gunjan turned to him, trying to explain, but he- Chashmish. It's okay. I believe you.

Gunjan calmed down and Samrat looked at Niel.

Samrat- Niel (Putting his arm around his fianc) I hope you will come with your wife Sheena to our reception when it will be held.

Gunjan looked at Samrat then at Sheena and Niel. Nupur and Dia looked at each other, equally amazed, and then at Sheena-Niel. Mayank and Benji smiled, smugly.

Gunjan (Looking relieved)- Kya? Oh! That is great!

Niel looked shocked at her reaction.

Sheena- Par Gunjan, Samrat ne kyon kaha ki Niel abhi bhi tumse pyar karte hai?

Gunjan's smile vanished and she looked Samrat, flustered.

Samrat glared at Sheena- Sheena, I want to thank you for marrying Niel. (Turning to Niel) I am sorry for you, dude. Sheena jaise ladki tumhe kaise mila?

Niel looked embarrassed.

Sheena- My dad finances eighty percent of his films (Warningly she looked at Niel) Niel. I saw you holding Gunjan's hand. You will hear from my dad if you dare to leave me.

Samrat looked at Gunjan, confused. Gunjan closed her eyes and then looked at him- Usne bas mere haath pakda, handshake karne ke liye.

Samrat became unconvinced.

Mayank- Samrat. Let us go.

Nupur- Haan Samrat. Chalo.

Dia- Gunjan..

(Gunjan took Samrat's arm and pleadingly asked him to leave with her)

Niel- Gunjan.. Let me explain.. Samrat..

Benji- Bas karo na dude!

(Gunjan pulled Samrat away, and the gang left. Niel stared after them while Sheena went back to her table.)
