Woman files complaint against Nawazuddin Siddiqui for molestation'
The Versova police on Sunday registered an FIR under section 354 of IPC, against actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for allegedly misbehaving with a 24-year-old woman residing in the same building as the actor, in Andheri. In her complaint, the woman had accused Nawazuddin of manhandling her and pushing her in the chest. However, the actor's manager, Anup Pandey, has a completely different story to tell.
According to Pandey, two men and three women barged into Nawazuddin's office at Yari Road, on Sunday, to meet him and give him a notice to vacate the area in front of his office. However, Pandey reasoned that since Nawaz never claimed that the area was his, there was no question of vacating it, stating that one of the men, Khalil, even tried to pull Nawaz's wife, Alia, in his quest to meet the actor face-to-face.
Anup said, "All this while, Nawazuddin was in the washroom and when he came out, he asked the five people to just keep the notice and go. There was confrontation between the two parties before the five people left Nawaz's place."
He further added that the allegations were merely to defame Siddiqui saying, "The complainant, Heena, is not from the society, neither in relation of the chairperson. It is completely a false allegation to defame the personality. In fact, 5 people had barged into our office and demanded to meet Mr. Siddiqui for some notice to be issued, when Mrs. Siddiqui, asked them to hand over the notice, they denied saying they want to meet Mr. Nawaz and one of the 5 people including Soni Dandekar, the complainant, a lady aged 55 years, a guy aged 35-40 yrs and an aged man 65 yrs, pushed Mrs. Siddiqui."
