At the outset, please accept my sincere apologies, friends, for doing the disappearing act through mid last week...was "kaam ki boj ki maari"😆
Just finished watching the episodes...have to admit, watched them twice over...to be able to absorb...to assimilate every CLASSIC moment...
And a boy, oh boy..
What a week this indeed was...
Will go down in the history books
For being able to recreate...the "Golden" IKRS times!
What a FANTASTIC team effort
From Superlative Direction to Compelling Story Telling
Ably supported by some A Grade Writing
The Supporting Cast performing in Top Gear
And, finally
Our ViDha
Have simply OUTDONE themselves this week!
You can take a bow, Team IKRS
You guys completely deserve it!

Since CONTENT was SUPREME this week, am also using the 'story' to take this review ahead...
LOVED the manner in which the week started...
The tension between Viplav & Dhani completely palpable...was it just the feeling of betrayal alone? A Thumbs Up to the multiple layers on display as the plot unfolded...not taking the hackneyed route of a MU track
Liked how Viplav was trying to put a finger to it...how could this be...simply how could it be?? Was it the same righteous Dhani...this was a Dhani, Viplav couldn't seem to recognize...this was not the Dhani he knew...the Dhani who stood up against Phoolchand and for all things right!
Full marks to the RAZOR SHARP Viplav for being spot on in articulating TP's character - his criminal mindset...forget anybody else, not being loyal to Suvarna herself!
LOVED how both Viplav and Dhani were ROCK-SOLID...STEADFAST in their intent...both echoing exactly the SAME sentiments to Dadi and RL respectively...Viplav with his "Haan mujhe Dhani pe gussa hai...usne galti ki hai...par main usse bahut pyar karta hoon", while Dhani simply says "TP aur Vakil Babu main koi tulna hi nahin ho sakti...tum humarey dimaag main aise khayal bilkul mat dalo"!

The week progressed, and so did the new found thriller format...was a novel idea to take the track forward; appropriately placed, with the story of the leads still in the forefront
Have to admit that was baffled as to why Dhani would choose the dead of night to clear the air with Viplav, but, nonetheless, liked Dhani's interaction with Shalu as she enters "Ayodhya Niwas"...Dhani's coy smile to Shalu's "bhaiya se milney aaye ho"...bahut apnapan tha ...almost like a real bond!😊
Thereafter, Dhani's monologue as she speaks to "Viplav"! Was absolutely TOP CLASS! "Peli baar kisi ka dar bhi nahin laga"..."Tumhara vishwas todenge"..."Tumhare virodh jayenge" GOOD writing and Eisha SPOT ON! Every word reeking of Innocence...trademark Dhani completely intact!
And finally, as Dhani goes..."apna baal noch le ya tumhare!"😆
LOVED it!😃
Liked the fact that Viplav knew Dhani was present, no clichd format of accidentally finding her at the scene of crime!
And, then Dhani's telephonic conversation with Viplav...LOVED how Dhani, as always, starts off by her by now patented rebuke!😆 Then, as the comedy of errors is clarified and Viplav goes "Hey Bhagwaan, Dhani!", with his hand against his head...both are CUTENESS personified! 😳
Nice touch that of Dadi and Dulaari meeting Dhani and Viplav respectively; and Viplav's reaction at being caught...was PRICELESS! Good touch that of Dadi being with Dhani at the time of the crime, no chance of her being implicated!
LOVED how Dhani called Viplav's father "Baba"...the irony of the situation...the same was a moment, too late!
And then, the story of Viplav and his transformation...as he casually walks in...to a harrowed pace, and then finally the chaos and confusion as a distraught Viplav looks, still trying to get a grip on things...as always...look up to Dhani for answers!
FANTASTIC touch, that!⭐️
AND THEREAFTER...
What unfolded was simply OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD
Was introduced to a new Viplav
And
His world
One full of trials
And tribulations!
The growth that has been demonstrated in Viplav's characterization this week
Is simply
To die for!
Viplav has been simply OUTSTANDING!

The Ranbirs and Ranveers seriously have some tough competition

So here goes...the facts and figures to this overwhelming response...
VIPLAV,
Devastated inside, but taking complete charge of the collapsing world around him
As the pain inside becomes completely overbearing, from the moment he walks away, and comes and parks himself on the hospital seat...
Don't know what was greater - the complexity of the scene or the complexity of Viplav's emotions!
Viplav just not being able to put a finger to it...the pain of the harsh reality sinking in...the crippling thought of Viplav possibly losing his"Baba"...the dichotomy of the situation with Viplav's bleeding heart versus having to be the responsible scion...as Viplav tries desperately to hold back those tears as they just won't stop...the fervent plea for some kind of divine intervention, but the complexity of the possible futility of it all
Viplav's sheer helplessness as he looks for something to hold on to
Both literally and figuratively!
The Characterization...absolutely BRILLIANT!
The Responses...completely Viplav!

Mishal Raheja, you have once again created HISTORY!
And FINALLY,
As the news is broken
Viplav in a state of complete shock...disbelief...and denial, as Dhani slowly moves towards him...continuously ROCK SOLID beside her vakil babu...when he needs her the most!
And the poignancy of the situation as Viplav is still trying to come to terms... "Par tumne toh bola tha ki bhagwaan ji se prarthana karogi"..."Phir kya hua Dhani"...
Viplav's pain...Viplav's pathos...Viplav's loss had reached us...we were crying too!
And then, as he falls to the ground almost lifeless...but has to pick himself up again...
The moment, completely heart-wrenching!

Thereafter, as the rest of the week unfolded...
Some FANTASTIC direction, TOP CLASS actually!⭐️
As the REAL conflict unravels itself...of the turmoil...the tussle...lying WITHIN
As KT becomes "Widhwa"!
KT in denial of her widowhood - shot against the backdrop of the "widhwas", the same identity of the womenfolk she completely abhorred!
A pertinent question raised - what has shattered KT more, the loss of her husband OR that SHE, Kanak Tripathi has an identity which she thought was only meant for the downtrodden...for the less fortunate??
Which is the greater loss really?
AND THEN,
The symbolic bangles...
As their identity fade into oblivion, juxtaposed against Dhani
A wonderful metaphor
Life comes full circle, and how!
👏👏👏Some fine moments in continuation...as DT says a firm "No" to TP...with the passage of clouds indicating the 'passage of time'...
Then, as the story moves to the Cremation Ground...
The poignancy of the moment as Viplav is desperately trying to clutch on to memories as he completely distraught, has to light the funeral pyre...
And, THEREAFTER...
The Viplav-KT-Dhani face off!!
What TOP NOTCH PERFORMANCES!!
KT going all out...all guns blazing...full throttle at Dhani...Kajal Nishad on TOP of her game!⭐️
Dhani breaking down completely...her soul was scarred by KT's scathing remarks! Eisha in TOP form!
And finally, Viplav...crushed between the two women who possibly matter the most to him...
And yet completely STOIC!
Not a word uttered
In Defiance
As his mother goes berserk...as she unleashes herself
Simply shielding Dhani...with Unwavering focus...as he stood like the Rock of Gibraltar besides her
My heart went out to Viplav in that moment...
What a man you are Viplav!
What Nobility of Character...
You have a fan in me, for Life!

And soon thereafter, Dhani...and the DEPTH of her love for Viplav
As Dhani breaks down...THE Dhani breaks down
Dhani's deep-rooted love for Viplav...further fuelling her fears!
Eisha Singh, you NAILED it in this one!

A SPECIAL mention of how the scene with KT's drama of the "suhaag ki nishani" ended...KT just letting go of the hysteria, finally, and collapsing in Viplav's arms!👍🏼
Thereafter, the week progressed...and so did ViDha
Viplav's straight from the heart telephonic interaction with Dhani...reminiscing about his "Baba" and his sense of loss and helplessness! Some absolutely TOUCHING moments there as Viplav laments about the past through the "jeevit" piece! Each word so TRUE...tugging at the heart strings, with eyes welling up with tears!
LOVE how Dhani continued to be by his side rock solid' as ever. Some more TOP NOTCH writing on display...Viplav, despite his irreparable loss still apologizing to Dhani for his mother's behavior, and Dhani in response simply saying "Tum chhoti malkin ka khayal rakhna...Humey acchi tarah pata hai ki is waqt kaisa lagta hai"!
Proud to be your FAN, Viplav and Dhani! Will cherish your presence FOREVER!
And then, the Shraddhanjali piece...
The Self-respecting Dhani, The Helpless Viplav...
Both wanting to be by each other, to comfort each other, BUT, their challenges...once again, heart-wrenching!
And, then, Viplav's conversation with his "Baba" about the pain of his dilemma...Dhani not even being there, YET, simply deciding to stay back...
What a BOND
What DEPTH
What UNDERSTANDING
Is this what they call SOULMATES??

And then, the ViDha Scene...What a CLASSIC one...will remain one of my eternal favourites...such little said, but created quite a stir!
LOVED how the situation seamlessly flowed as Viplav noticed Dhani...Viplav still lost in his "Baba's" world...with a chance glance on Dhani...seemed so completely natural and believable.
Thereafter, absolutely LOVED the ViDha convo...
As Viplav, completely flummoxed, trying to absorb the depth of Dhani's love..."Tum dopahar ke barah baje se ab sham ke saath baje tak yahin par ho"..."Tum pagal ho?"
Dhani, as only Dhani can, simply replying with a "Jaise tum pagal ho, waise hum pagal hain"!

FAB, simply FAB!
Then, as Viplav apologizes profusely to Dhani for his mother's misconduct, and, Dhani's simple words of reassurance...Viplav responding with a "thankyou"
A TOUCHING ViDha moment thereafter...
As a smile reaches Viplav's lips, Dhani can gaze deeper...she can already feel Viplav's pain as she looks on...her eyes reeking of Viplav's agony inside...as he once again oscillates to his inner turmoil, still clutching Dhani's hand as she holds on continuing to comfort him!
SUPER, simply FANTASTIC!
ViDha have sure come a long way, and how!👏👏👏
And then, as the week drew to a close...
Viplav's confrontation with TP... the irony of the moment...Dhani's goodness and Viplav's misunderstanding of the same!
The finer details to Viplav's characterization continued to shone...
Nice touches as Viplav asks about KT as soon as he sees everybody seated for dinner...and then...the first signs of an impending showdown with KT.
At the outset, Viplav's pain on seeing his mother as a "widhwa" and then, finally, his outburst...the turbulence...the turmoil...simply FANTASTIC! ⭐️
LOVED the dichotomy of the moment, thereafter, when Viplav comes to the ashram to clear the air with Dhani...Viplav extremely upset, yet not allowing his ego to come in between...nicely expressed by "humney bahut rokne ki koshish ki, par pata nahin humare pair yahin pe aakar ruk kyon jaati hain?"
Viplav seething with anger thereafter, as he speaks about TP...the rage in Viplav's eyes palpable...
A split second later, the compassionate Viplav as he wonders aloud at Dhani's innate goodness and ability to forgive!
Mishal Raheja, you bring Viplav alive...time and time again!
You have been simply INCREDIBLE this week!

And then...
THE FINAL SHOWDOWN!
Just LOVED, LOVED, Viplav's ANGSTY & FIESTY avatar!
Starting off with the pensive Viplav, probably revisiting the past with his Baba, as the scumbag TP instigates him...
And then like a man POSSESED, Viplav lashes out...at TP and everything in between, Dhani included!
LOVED Viplav's intensity, LOVED even more his pain when he brushes off Dhani!
The "paas mat aana" reeked of HURT!
Of a man who had felt let down
By the woman he loves the most!
Some TURBULENT times ahead for the both of them
Both, Viplav AND Dhani
Dhani will have to make a choice, sooner than later
Viplav will have to simply hold on
To the Love of his Life
For Dear Life!
In Summary...
Have been awake virtually the whole night revisiting the week
Both literally and figuratively...
But, is a small price to pay...
For a week
That has been SPLENDID in the truest sense of the word...
Reminiscent of "Golden" IKRS all the way!
