In evening, after finishing her work, she come out of her cabin and moved toward his when someone called her from behind.
"Hey!" She frowned hearing a unfamiliar voice. She turned around and found a man coming her way. She gave a questioning look to the strange who came and stood before her.
"I'm vishesh kapoor. CEO of kapoor industries and your boss, reyaansh's childhood friend." Vishesh introduced himself, he held his hand out for, but taani just gave a tight smile to him. She turned around to leave when vishesh grabbed her wrist, her eyes widen and her head snapped at him.
"Mr. Kapoor, leave my hand." She told him, tried taking her hand away from his grasp but instead, vishesh tightening his grip.
"Why, beautiful? I had heard alot about you, for this job when you can warm rey's bed, then why can't mine? Trust me, I have better offer for you than hi-" Vishesh spoke, eying her with lust in Disgust & anger ran through her hearing his words. Her nose flared up in anger, and next moment, vishesh felt a stinging pain as she slapped him hard. His eyes widen realizing she had slapped him, the people passing by stopped and look at the scene before them with wide eyes.
"How dare you-" Vishesh hissed in anger, he took a step toward her but only to awoke the real tigress in her. She pushed him back with all her strenth.
"Stay away from me." She snapped at him in anger. Vishesh was feeling insulted, he was about to say something but stopped when he spotted Rey, coming out of his cabin.
"What the hell is going on here?" Rey's anger filled voice boomed, Taani look at him, she was about to tell when vishesh spoke.
"Rey, this girl, this girl was trying to seduce, asking me better job in return. You know, when i denied, she got angry and She slapped me-" Vishesh spoke, her eyes widen seeing him changing colors in front of rey. Taani look at rey, she wonder will he believe his childhood friend over his wife? Her eyes filled with unshed tears, she knew if he doubt her, she won't be able to bear it.
But the next thing that happened, shocked everyone.
"bas***d!" Rey growled, and next moment, his fist collided against his jaw making vishesh fall down on the ground. Rey grabbed his collar and made him stand with a jerk, he knew vishesh must have done something that forced her to raise her hand at him. And that thought itself, made him burn in anger. His feelings were confusing to himself, as why he was feeling so protective over her but for that moment, he brushed that thought aside.
"The girl you are talking about, is MY WIFE! And not even in my wildest dream, i will believe what you said about her-" Rey roared in anger. Taani look at him with wide eyes, she had never seen him this anger, but somewhere, she felt elated that he trust her, not once he look at her with doubtful eyes. He just simply trust her.
"Next time if i ever see you near her, trust me, it will be your last day on planet." Rey warned him, then he called security and thrown him out.
"Do i pay you all to stand here? Back to work." Rey growled loudly, the employees who were standing there and watching the drama, hurried off and went back to their work, not wanting to face the wrath of their angry boss.
Rey turned to taani, who was standing there, silently. Rey closed his eyes and calmed his anger, then he walked toward her. He kept his hand on her shoulder, breaking her trance. She looked up and hugged him tightly, feeling too overwhelmed. Rey was shocked by her sudden move, but wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back.
"Did he hurt you?" Rey asked her softly.
"He was misbehaving with me and i slapped him." Taani mumbled in low tone. Anger bubble up inside him, but he calmed himself, reminding himself to deal with vishesh later.
"It's okay. I won't let him ever come close to you-" Rey whispered in soft tone.
"Thanks for trusting me." Taani lifted her head and smiled at him warmly.
"Biwi ho meri, tumhe trust nahi karunga toh kise karunga-" Rey answered with a smile, making her giggle and his words warm her heart. It was pleasant sight to have him talking to her without any hesitation.
