"I have to run, I can't stop here" she said in between her uneven breaths. She took a glance of area nearby herself observing a suitable direction to run further to hide herself from those men coming after her chasing her. In a quick deep observation, she has found a way to a direction different from others. She steps forward and tries to run taking long foot steps towards the direction that has been chosen by her. But the tiredness of previous running was not accompanying her feet to run ahead which was resulting in her long steps-slow running nevertheless she was managing to run but not fast as she was running previously.
On running about one kilometer, she stops at an open hill isolated area. She puts her both hands on her waist and stomach in an attempt to catch up with normal breathing. 'Huff, huff, huff...huff. Her breathing sound was more than normal breath sound but what she saw next had been shaken her full body and her eyes were widen in shock as she tries to have a look of the area that has came before her eyes. She took furthermore steps to reconfirm her inner doubt that was saying "it's END here".
And it's confirmed. The limit of the area ends there itself. There is no way to proceed ahead. The place she was standing on, was a small hill top area where if she looks down...there is only a deep chasm everywhere and nothing else, and if she looks up from her place...there is another big hill top(about ten feet or 3-4 meters) which is impossible for her to climb up. It was not less than a "Between the devil and the deep sea" situation for her. She has been trapped in the problem more from all sides. There was no way to escape for her. The stress lines could have been easily visible on her forehead.
"Cough - cough"... her dry throat was coughing out demanding the necessity of water for her body more than earlier. She was stroking her dry throat through her hand to provide it a possible relief. Her conscious mind alarmed her about the importance of every minute of time in her life at this extant time. Without wasting a single moment, she decided to run back to the direction she had come from and then will search for another safe way to go.
Immediately, she turned back and started walk back to the place but hastily, with falter steps she stopped after moving 2-3 steps getting another shock when she saw those men coming out from the same direction she was going to.
Those three men and she looked at one another. Those men had stop off at their places one after one and was giving one another a satisfactory look for achieving a part of success in their mission and started smirking. She was panicking seeing all the men staring at her with a devilish smile on their tired faces.
But she has not surrendered yet before those men. She is strong enough to trick them and come out of the situation and she will. Her mind says "she has to escape from this dangerous situation coming over her life". Suddenly her eyes landed on small stones scattered over on the ground near her feet. Sneaking she looked at the stone to grab it and gave a second look to those men standing at some distance starring devilishly at her.
One of those men steps forward towards her when she grabbed the stone off from the ground and threw it onto the man coming near her. The stone hit right on his forehead just above the nose which caused him to fell down on the ground shouting aloud in pain. The other two men ran to help him without focusing on her. This led her to get a chance to run away from there and from the eyes of those men. She started running towards the direction when she felt a strong hit and sharp pain on the back of her head.
She took a hold of her head through her hands as an instant reaction. Slightly she turned back to look at the attacker who had hit her. She saw him holding a gun in his hand.
The attacker had hit her head with the lower portion of the gun.
Slowly she felt a type of warm liquid in her hand on her head. She brings her hand in front of her eyes to recognize what exactly it is? She found that it was blood covering her hand...she was now aware of the happening that has happened with her. Yet she has decided to not kneel down before those men.
With a strong motive of escaping out of the situation, she pushed that attacker (goon1) backward hitting his back to the tree creating her path to the deep chasm.
She has made her mind to jump off the cliff in the chasm if her fate support her to live again after jumping off from this huge height but she will not let those men chase her.
with her falter steps she was going to jump in the chasm when one of those men hold her shoulder harshly and pulled her back taking hold of her either hands by other two men(goon 2 and 3) and the another man(goon 4) said " it's over for you".
"It's not yet over mr.goon". They all heard a voice strong enough to scare them. All of them looked at the source of the voice. She also looks for the voice in her semi-conscious state due to hit on her head. She found a man standing on that 3-4 meter high hill top that was impossible for her to climb. The image of the man standing on that hill top was going a semi blurry for her but she can see him folding his arms across his chest with a bag on his shoulder starring at her. She was now losing her consciousness slowly...slowly...and slowly...and her eyes were now closed because she could not able to keep her eyes open even for a more sec.
Seeing him standing on the hill above, one of those goons who was holding her hand in his, ordered another goon to kill her immediately and then they will see this man.
Goon 3 to goon 4: "don't look at him above...he will not be able to do anything in front of us...you just kill her immediately and then we will tackle him" and started smirking.
All the four goons diverted their attention towards her to take her life to the death. Goon 4 was about to press the trigger of the gun that has been pointed at her temple when the man standing on the hill above jumped from there and hit the hand directly of the gun holder with his foot and took a stand just before the girl standing partially in her unconscious state...and said..."leave her".
The earlier happening was so quick that the gun holder (goon 4) had fallen down on the ground with his gun far away from him and goon 2 and 3 looking at the goon 4 lie down on the ground left the unconscious girl from their clutches and tried to hit the man who had failed their almost completed mission.
But the man who has saved her life immediately get a hold of her wrist through his one hand to save her once again from hitting the ground in her unconscious state...and with the other hand he had punched the faces of both the goons one by one instantly. Goon 2 and 3 are now lied down on the ground with goon 4...seeing goon 2 and 3 on the ground, goon 4 asked the man holding the girl in his arm..." who is she to you?"
And in a quick next second, the man and the girl was now standing at the edge of the cliff and was about to fallen down in the deep chasm when he took a proper hold of her waist through his both hands and said " Nothing" in his attitudinal voice while jumping off the cliff in the deep chasm before any of the four goons could again catch them.
He and she were falling down, rolling down on the downward sloppy area when their falling stopped just at the ground side by a river. He took a balance of both of themselves. He sit there taking her unconscious body in his arm patting her cheek while trying to awake her..."get up...come on girl get up...get up..." but she was not responding.
He saw the river and took some water in his hands and sprinkled it on her face. He did same for one more time ...here she responded.
She moves her face a little and again tried to touch her head on feeling sharp pain again. There he noticed that blood was oozing out of her head and his hands were also blood covered while taking her in his arms for awakening her.
He again tries to awaken her. She opened her eyes partially and saw her life savior in front of her eyes.
She asked him in trembling voice "wh...wh..Who... are... y...o...u"
"Raghav" he replied immediately.
