The way Kanal was hurtling abuse to Dhaani and finally physically assaulting both Viplav and Dhaani was very well done. The stoic presence of Viplav was heart wrenching, he could not shout at his mother, but still managed to be the shield. And his helplessness when Dhaani ran away crying was so real like.

That scene when Kanak further abused him about his pagalpan for Dhaani was very well directed and finally the initial crack in Viplav's armour to ask his mother not to drag Dhaani into this was a treat to watch.
